Hello everyone! My name is Danielle, I don’t really have a nickname but a lot of people call me D. This is my first year as a Cavalier Girl!!! I teach dance at a studio in Pennsylvania so driving back and forth is going to be a challenge. However, I am living my dream so I will make it work. Also I am married to the most amazing, supportive guy in the world and life could not get much better. We have a Siberian husky named Kia…oh I just love her!!

I am extra excited about this year because I feel the team is better than ever. Just dancing at the games and cheering the team on is incredible but when we go all the way, that will be another story!

Dancing is my passion and there is no other job that I can see myself enjoying as much as this. I feel very thankful and blessed to be a Cavalier girl. If I could choose one word to describe my experience as a Cavalier Girl it would be, surreal! Everything I ever dreamed of has come true and it’s only just begun. I was super excited to perform in Pittsburgh during the pre-season because that’s close to my home.

I have been dancing since I was 3 years old.  You can always find me dancing no matter if I am at a grocery store or in a pool lol…it’s my stress reliever. I have studied all different types of dance but my two favorite are African and hip hop. The jabbawockeez are my idols I just think their incredible and I am kind of a little obsessed with them lol.  My style is a lot different to anything we do here and the most challenging part for me will be the turns, leaps, and jazz style. I am a hard worker and my favorite quote that I live by is…”If you can believe it and conceive it, you can achieve it”.

So that’s a little about me, and all in all, I’m living my dream by being part of the Cleveland Cavaliers organization.  The Cavs are doing great, as usual. The CG’s are doing awesome and working very hard this season. We will see you on the court.

Hey you, CavFanatics!

It’s Jamie (‘Lil J) and I'm in the middle of my third season with the awesome and talented Cavalier Girls. I hope everyone has been enjoying our 2009-2010 XL season through all the excitement!  This season has been loads of fun and packed with hard work for us. We started immediately following our congratulatory phone calls with contract signing and our four-day boot camp at Kalahari, which was only the beginning!  We have the best entertainment staff in the NBA and I am grateful to be a part of that! We have bonded with each other as well as with Scream Team! We are one little happy family! Lol. This season has been hectic and tough as well. We’re always being pushed to our limits to be the best we can possibly be to ensure our fans are always entertained! Hip-Hop is my favorite style and the kind I love to perform most during games.

So far, the CGs have been able to do a lot more with charities like the Ronald McDonald house, United Way, Toy Drives for the holidays, and so much more! I love doing charities because by the time you leave that promo you have a big smile on your face and feel so much better walking out then you did walking in.  I love it!

Aside from dancing during the games I was so blessed, and fortunate, to travel overseas for a second time to Beijing, China for the “Tsingtao Beer Dance Passion Reality Show”. This was such an amazing opportunity to represent the Cavs as well as the NBA and I loved every moment of our trip. I had a hard time saying goodbye!

Cavalier Girls Swimsuit Calendar 2009-2010 was released and it is definitely a must-have for this year! Every girl looks amazing and it’s awesome to see all the hard work and dedication by every single person involved in the creation of the calendar! All proceeds go to the Cavaliers Youth Fund so there are more reasons than just one to purchase.

With a strong team and the BEST fans in the NBA we are bound for glory! Lol. I love my job and I love the Cavaliers so let’s Rise Up and show every other team what being XL is all about!
