Interesting Facts About Me i live in Columbus was born in Cleveland and love the Browns, Buckeyes and Cavs. I lived in Cali for 15 years where I met my hubby who was in the Navy. I graduated from San Diego State Univ. I cheered for The Univ of Akron back when they went to the MAC championship and Tressel was an assistant coach. I have 3 degrees and have attended 5 colleges. My sorority sister's friend used to be Michael Jackson's hairdresser during the "caught on fire" years. I learned very quickly that you cant live in Columbus without somehow being connected to the Buckeyes- it's the pro team of the city. My daughters go to OSU, and my hubby works there. I'm on the CAV boards at least 3X a day.

    'Tis the Season for FB

Monday, September 7, 2009, 10:45 AM EST [General]

Its been awhile since I posted - guess i've been busy or just lazy.  So jazzed that FB season is here- not only b/c I get to see the Buckeyes and Brownies in real games, but it means the Cavs season is not far away!  Its been a long wait, and I'm skeptical about the Cavs season since so much is riding on this season and expectations are even higher than last year if that's possible.  I reallly think the key is injury control.  We were pretty fortunate last year since there were not a lot of major injuries, but dont know if we can count on that again.  Especially LBJ- he didnt miss a game last season due to injury.  Really concerned about Shaq's health.  Should be a good ride though.  We made some great additions, and we can definitely win it all.  I'm planning to buy 10 tickets to a Cavs game this season and give them for Christmas gifts to my family- cant wait till individual tickets go on sale.  They'll have to be in the nose bleed section, but that's okay cuz just being there will be sweet.  I hope my fellow CF folks remember that if we want new members we need to welcome them- sometimes I see folks slamming posters for putting things on the wrong thread, posting duplicate info, or making comments that they dont agree with and end up calling names and being pretty rude.  Thats no way of encouraging folks to participate!  We need to keep the fanatics coming!  For the most part though, its all cool.  This is my lifeline during the season, and I really rely on this site to keep me up to date, help me think about what's going on, and share my excitement!  Bet that's true for a lot of fans.  Lets get locked, loaded and ready to Go Cavs!!!!!

Halfway thru summer and thinking 'bout my teams

Tuesday, July 28, 2009, 01:44 PM EST [General]

I'm getting antsy and want football season to start.  I know that means winter is on its way, but maybe El Nino will give us a break.  I already read that the Buckeyes are preseason favorites to win the Big Ten, which would mean a Rose Bowl appearance if they do- and arent in line for a national championship.  That would not be great for me if they go to the Rose Bowl since I'll be traveling from the west coast on New Years day and would miss it.  Brownies...what can you say.  Maybe since they've been under the radar this preseason (nobody gives them the time of day) they'll surprise folks and even come out 8-8.  Last year everybody thought they'd be a  monster team and they crashed and burned (welcome to the Browns).  Who knows?  I'm just starting to get hyped about watching.  Then there's my Cavs.  I'm really hoping this season will be a beast.  Hard to top last years regular season, but I guess I re-learned that the regular season means nothing once the playoffs start.  HCA didnt help us- what a missed opportunity!  When do you get a chance at HCA throughout the entire playoffs????Not often if ever.  Team is coming together pretty well in my opinion.  I like adding Parker, Moon, Green and of course Shaq.  I just hope the team stays healthy with no major injuries to key players especially LBJ who miraculously stayed healthy the entire season!!!  I rarely if ever miss a Browns, Buckeye or Cavs game.  I think I've probably missed 3 (combined) in the last 3 years.  That's hard to do when you work 2 jobs and one includes nights- gotta really tweek the ol' schedule to make sure I dont miss a game.  Sometimes that means listening to WTAM 1100 on my 45 minute drive home- wish it had a stronger signal.  My husband says I'm obsessed with the Cavs.  Yeah, I confess I am.

Just painted a ceramic yard frog for my front landscape:  He's wearing a Cav jersey with "Witness" on the back.  He joins my other two figures that are wearing a Browns outfit and a Buckeye jersey!

Thats all for now.  Hurry up season, I'm still antsy and my blog is really too long.

Peace out: yeah, we've got a Sun, and Moon and a Star.  Shootin for the sky.

Words cannot express how I would feel if the Browns lost Josh Cribbs :-(

The Browns better get things turned around because fans are really sick and tired of the pathetic state of things.
