Cavs fans rejoice! Tonight's game against the Washington Wizards started off poorly but your Cavaliers pulled a magic trick of their own, making Agent Zero and his crew disappear after a half of basketball.
Shaquille O'Neal showed signs of being the Superman of old, going 7 of 9 from the floor, and swept aside his typical Kryptonite (the free throw) in a 7 of 10 effort from the stripe. TheBron recorded a game-high 27 points to go along with 8 boards and 6 dimes. Boobie Gibson spent the second half levitating beyond the arc to add 14 points on 5 of 8 shooting (4 of 5 from tre').
On the downside, prized free-agent addition Anthony Parker spent the night struggling to pull a rabbit out of his hat on his way to a 2 of 12 performance in front of 20,000+ at the Quicken Loans Arena.
For the Wiz, Caron Butler and Gilbert Arenas held the Magic Stick for most of the first half but cooled off, both finishing 7 of 18 from the field.
The Cavs look to ride their 3 game winning streak into the Q on Thursday against Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls while the Wiz will try to reappear against the Heat tomorrow night.
