Danny Green's North Carolina Career Highlights:

 

Played in more games (145) and more wins (123) than any Tar Heel in history. Only player in ACC history with 1,000 points, 500 rebounds, 250 assists, 150 three-pointers, 150 blocks and 150 steals. Ranks third at UNC in career free throw percentage (.845), and eighth in three-pointers made (184) and blocked shots (160). Only player in school history to record 100 or more blocked shots and three-point field goals.

 

Senior (2008-09):

 

ACC All-Defensive Team and All-ACC Third Team selection. Named to the NCAA South Regional All-Tournament Team. Averaged 12.0 points and 4.7 rebounds in six NCAA Tournament wins en route to national title. Scored in double figures in 26 games. Finished second on the team with 77 three-pointers. Sank multiple threes in 25 games. Dished out 104 assists with only 63 turnovers. Was second in the ACC in three-point percentage (.418), sixth in steals (1.8 spg) and 10th in blocked shots (1.3 bpg)

 

Strengths: Versatile wing performer with a nice feel for the game. Rebounds and blocks shots extremely well for a perimeter player. Shoots with range. Gets after it defensively.

Danny Green Fans Welcome and if you are not a part of this group you must be going crazy because this is an Official Fan Club of our very own rookie Danny Green. The nickname of our group is DG14 so if you want to put that in your name go ahead. Danny is perhaps similar to Jordan in his North Carolina years. DG is the next MJ out of North Carolina. This guy to me is the steal of the draft, and he is way better then that Blair guy. DG acutally weighs less then Blair does so DG14 is way faster then Blair. Happy got him, hope we dont lose him, hope he loves it here. Those are what I call the three H's. So come on in and support Danny Green's NBA career.
