    Dear Boston Fans

Wednesday, April 15, 2009, 11:55 AM EST [General]

I know this is a little late....but the more and more I read about how upset Boston is at the Cavs for what they call "classless celebrations", the more and more I got to thinking about how crazy it was coming from them. So...being the very mature person I am...I joined a Boston forum and posted this. (Yes, probably not a smart thing to do, but good lord if you had read the things they were posting...I had to stick up for my team!)

I am literally stunned by the outrage shown by the Boston media and fans over the Cavs “classless” celebrations during the absolute beat down you received on Easter Sunday. Classless? Last time I checked, supporting your teammates from the bench when they do something great isn’t classless. Having fun and enjoying the game they love isn’t classless. It’s actually quite the opposite. Just because team chemistry of this magnitude hasn’t been seen before doesn’t mean fans of every other team need to get up in arms over guys celebrating the successes of their fellow team members. The Cavs have never taunted the bench of any team this season, and have been doing the same things they did on Sunday during almost every other game (I know it’s crazy, but try to trust someone who has actually watched every game). The officials obviously don’t have a problem with it, and Stern clearly has no issue with it, so why is it even up for debate? LeBron James has had nothing but nice things to say about the Celtics, giving them the respect they deserve as the reigning World Champions, and yet, the Cavs are classless?

It’s funny to hear all of this whining coming from Boston and its fans. You pretty much lose your right to call anyone else classless when you have a guy like Kevin Garnett on your team. How about his elbow to Pachulia or his taunting of Calderon? I could go on and on about a guy who likes to throw his teammates under the bus, start fights with them and is generally one of the dirtiest guys in the league. And then, to top it all off, the last guy on your team that anyone thought had some class elbows a man right in his groin….wow. Obviously Cavs fans aren’t alone in thinking it was a dirty play, because he was subsequently suspended. Forgive us if we’d rather have a team that truly likes one another and wants to support each other rather than pull antics like those of KG, Allen and the rest.

In short….get over it and yourselves. Maybe your guys should try having a little fun while supporting one another and the team. Maybe then you would have the best record in the NBA.

For my Lil' niece or nephew...

Monday, February 9, 2009, 12:04 PM EST [General]

My little sister came across this outfit the other day at Target....and it's obviously a must have for my brother and sister-in-laws baby. He or she won't be here until July but we have already been stocking up on the Cleveland wear for him or her. Cooper or Lily got a Cleveland Browns onesie for Christmas and now all we need are some Indians and Ohio State outfits. Even though they moved to Arizona this baby will be raised the correct way...and luckily they agree. :)

This will be my first niece or nephew (I have 5 brothers and a sister) and I am beyond excited. Although they are living in Tuscon, I plan to be the best auntie ever. In the mean time they better find a way to move back to Ohio ASAP!

I need some new Cavs gear....

Friday, February 6, 2009, 09:18 PM EST [General]

My mom recently got bleach spots on 2 of my Cavs t-shirts (okay it wasn't totally her fault...more like the washing machines fault) which means I need some new gear. I have actually been wanting something new for a while and now I have a legit reason to spend $ I don't really have. So...with my next big paycheck comes a big decision. Which of these should I get? Any thoughts, concerns or comments are welcomed.

I am really leaning toward the 1970 zippy...but like I said, any input would be helpful.

    The Walt Mobile

I posted this on the Official Cavs at Knicks Game Thread...but at 280ish posts who knows how many people will actually read it? I have been on this site for all of 24 hours and am already over the "Trade Wally" talk. No, not because I "love" him, think he is gorgeous (which he is, of course), etc. To me there is just no point in even discussing the issue anymore. There are so many reasons to keep him, so many reasons to trade him and too many variables to even know where to start. Again, this is a personal opinion and of course I respect everyone's right to talk about whichever topics they choose. But for me...this is it. No more trade talk and Wally together on my page!

**Below is my actual post from the thread.**

I missed most of the game while I was at work tonight but I was thrilled to see that Wally played well. The +/- of +18 and a double double...gotta love it!

At this point I am done debating whether or not we should or shouldn't trade him. I am not glad he is doing well so we won't trade him and I am not glad he is doing well so his trade value stays up. I am glad because I genuinely like him as a player. I think he works hard and he deservevs the rewards. When Wally plays well and contributes it helps the Cavs...and to me that should be the main concern at this point. Let's take it one game at a time...and I hope Wally plays well in every one of them and thus helps the Cavs keep on winning.
