There's 'bout to be a fight in Youngstown!

Can you believe it?  Finally, after months of speculation, Kelly Pavlik is slated to fight in his hometown.  Tickets went on sale last Saturday for the February 21st fight at the Chevrolet Centre (http://www.vindy.com/news/2009/jan/11/front-row-seats-still-available-for-a-price/ ).  There are some tickets still available, so act fast, and get to the Chevrolet Centre.  Seeing as how the Cavs are off that night, I don't think they'll have a problem with me hyping this event!

It will be a Vegas type atmosphere, as celebrities are already requesting VIP ticket info, and making hotel accommodations.  The Chevrolet Centre will be packed and the after parties are being planned.  Extra security is hired and extra ushers will be on hand.  This will definately be a night for Youngstown to shine!

As for "The Ghost", this is redemption time for him.  Kelly was in NYC yesterday for a press conference to hype the fight and he admitted that the Hopkins fight was a disappointment but on the same note it has made him realize he has to work harder and that he needs to "Win Convincingly" this time!

Make sure to get your tickets and if you don't... at least come to Youngstown and watch it at a bar.  This is the closest Youngstown will get to having a playoff type atmosphere (well since the 90's with YSU anyhow).

HBO is in Youngstown all this week to film for the intro to the fight.  Pay close attention if you watch the fight... I may get my 5 seconds of fame!

Rest easy!  I know it will be a tough fight but Kelly is traing hard.  I spoke with Kelly's Dad last Friday and he assured me that Kelly is preparing for a war!  I think you might see B-Hop get D-ropped!
