At any rate, football season is back and that's all that matters.  This is the time of year when I watch T.V. and don't get bored too easily.  Football is a good side dish to have before the big meal that is CAVS BASKETBALL BABY! (sorry, I'm just a little pumped up).  Last season was the first time I actually was fed up with football.  Now, with a new coaching staff, new RB, and a new QB, it should be a nice season to watch.

New QB? and who would this new quarterback be?

Why I haven't the foggiest... You see, Mangenius knows, but we don't know.  Rumor on the street is that it's Ratliff, or Anderson, or Quinn... But I couldn't even tell ya...

I had a dream last night that we were up 31-17 late in the 4th quarter against the Vikings.  Dunno how, but they ended up tying it at 31 and Brady got a chance to win us the game with about 45 seconds left.  He drove the ball down to about their 40 with only 5 seconds left, so we had to decide between letting Dawson kick a 57 yarder or throwing a hail mary.

That's when I woke up.  I tried to go back to sleep to figure out the outcome, but it didn't happen.  I'm assuming we at least went into overtime.

Ego sum maioribus.  Caveat emptor.

Brady Quinn wins Cleveland Browns quarterback competition

Brady Quinn has won the Browns quarterback derby, a league source told The Plain Dealer.

UPDATED: 3:25 p.m.

BEREA, Ohio -- Brady Quinn has won the quarterback competition and will start Sunday's game against the Vikings, a league source told The Plain Dealer today.

Browns coach Eric Mangini told the quarterbacks Tuesday night and Quinn took the first-team reps in practice Wednesday afternoon.

Quinn acted Wednesday as though he didn't know. "We're just out there continuing to battle with one another to get everything better for our team,'' he said.

The website profootballtalk.com reported that Buffalo wide receiver Terrell Owens has posted a congratulatory message to Quinn on his Twitter page.

Quinn went 1-2 in his three starts last season. Details to come.

But it's technically not really the 'season' yet?  Wink

Regardless, locking the other thread to make less of a mess of the stickies since the season is almost upon us...
