sports.espn.go.com/espn/blog/index?entry... ^Andy Katz reminds readers that the Buckeyes are not to be overlooked in this upcoming season. We're a very experienced bunch, and with ET running the point for us, we should create many match-up problems for opposing teams. Should be a pretty good year, I don't think it's unrealistic to say that we'll make the sweet 16.

thanks for the schedule! I heard theyre ranked 16 in the preseason polls. If they can stay healthy they might not be too bad.
Be who you are and say what you feel. Those who mind dont matter and those who matter dont mind. When skill and work combine, expect a masterpiece.
Cavs now have a Sun, a Moon and a Star! The sky is the limit!

Exciting stuff. This is by far a sports fans favorite time of the year with NBA, NHL kickin off. NFL and CFB in full force, the World Series wrapping up, and Mens Basketball just around the corner! One of the main things I look for this year is I hope Diebler has a break out scoring year. I was really high on him out of HS, even saw him play his senior year in which he dominated with a broken nose, but so far for the Bucks has been a dissapointment. It's nice to see 5 Big Ten teams in the Top 25 preseason, hopefully we'll be able to compete which I think we will. Lighty's back, and Turner coming off a huge year. Can't wait! and hopefully I'll get to a few games this year, I still haven't forgiven myself for never getting off my butt to go see Conley, Oden, and Cook play in person.

To be honest, I am hoping Simmons and PJ see the bulk of playing time at point.
ET just turns the ball over way, way too often(hopefully those turnovers will come down a bit this season) to run the point on a consistent basis. Plus, him running the point takes away part of his game...the part that can really kill an opposing defense. PJ started to step up a little bit last season. It's extremely important that he continues that progress. Having Lighty back is a boost, especially on the defensive side of the ball. As for JD...I seriously hope his shot comes around...but he's going to need to come off the bench, imo. Big Buford is just a better all around player. Hopefully JD can provide a much needed spark off the bench. I'm not sure about the Sweet 16, but I think we should deff be in the Tourney. A few "experts" on the radio here believe that the Buckeyes will be NITing lol

Eh, doe and I went to a lot of games..we usually get a fair amount of bball tix. It was fun while it lasted, but Scoonie, Redd, Boban, Johnson etc were WAY more fun for me to watch in person. I still haven't seen the Arena quite like it was back then at times. Even with oden, Conley etc, the energy was lacking inside the Schott.

Go Kent State!
Anderson Varejao is the best pick and roll defender in the league and I will fight you if you disagree.
When we look back in 3 years, everybody is going to say how much of a bargain Varejao's contract is
I hope nobody freaks out when LBJ does his Tim Duncan impression and actually entertains offers this summer just to keep the organization on their toes before he signs a 3-4 year deal
