On CavFanatic, you will notice there are groups.  Groups are GOOD.

There are 3 types of groups: Public, Private, and Semi-Private.

Public groups are open to everyone.  Anyone can join.

Private Groups are by invite only by the group owner.

Semi-Private Groups are visible to the public and users can request to be a part of that group and the group owner must approve.

Groups (in my understanding) will all have their own forums (they do not now, but it is being worked on).  So....if you are to create a private group, this is an opportunity for you to talk within a small group privately. 

Lots of ways Groups can be beneficial...so if you have a good idea for a group, start one today!

This is probably my favorite part of the new site. It was hard keeping a discussion going when only 5-10 people are interested. Good looking out on the groups!

Wow, I really like that, personal forums for every group. This site just keeps getting better and better. Major improvement over the old forums.

Really what I'm hoping for is, instead of having a Browns gameday thread or season sticky, posters join the group and discuss the Browns before, during and after the game there.  Sometimes after games, all these individual Browns threads pop up and clutter off topic.
