Due to popular demand, here is a new thread for the upcoming regular season!

I'll fill it up with information soon, maybe never, but for now here it is, on the new boards.

Marte's pitiful AB last night and his .100 average means to me that he is done and will be DFAed when Choo comes back with Laffey or Sowers in the bullpen


OR with how the two youngsters are playing, I could see a Paul Byrd trade being that it is his last year under contract


OR we could see Barfield called up and Marte DFAed


 


Speaking of roster moves, Jason Michaels started in CF for Pittsburgh last night and was 3-4 with 3 runs... DOH



But don't worry, he'll be back to his old self soon. Hey, at least we got a player for him

Fausto is dueling but so it Burnett... this one could come down to the pens which I would be OK with

ClifffLee pitched great again going 9 scoreless innings, but we still couldn't get the win. His ERA is now 0.67. Franklin had a great diving catch in game 1 and Cabrera had a unassisted double play. Our defense has been great of late.

Not trying to be Mr. Correcter here or anything but it was an unassisted triple play.

Yeah that's what I meant. Garko also had a nice play in the 2nd game to keep the game scoreless. Atleast we have good defense and good pitching. I'm sure Shapiro knows we need another bat by now.
