Sign in all the time

I use a desktop computer and a laptop to navigate these boards. Let's say, I wake up in the morning and get on the desktop computer to come checke these boards. I sign in and browse the boards.  I go upstairs to my laptop and sign in to browse the boards an hour later. I come back down stairs 2 hours later and get on the dekstop computer and it has logged me out. I have to log back in again. Then I go up to my laptop and it logs me out again. Apparently, you can only be logged in from one computer which is crazy. Is there a way to fix that?

I'm not 100% sure, but I think the source of your problem is that the site automatically logs you out after a period of inactivity? I've previously been logged in from a desktop and a laptop, even cell simultaneously, and never noticed any problems.

I'm pretty srue it's not the inactivity. I can get on my laptop at 9:56, come back down here at 9:57 and it will have logged me out.

I don't want to jinx myself but it seems as though the problem has been fixed. I'll hold my jubilation for another couple days to see if if holds true.

So far the only time I've had to log back in is after my computer runs spy sweeper and I delete cookies.  That goes for the old boards too.

I don't know about at the same time, but after being logged in at home, when I login from my office, I have to re login again when I get back home. And vice-versa...

I have a different problem... im logged in ALL the time.. no matter if i turn my laptop off ... when i turn it back on and go to the site im still logged on... its werid.. i never have to sign in...

I'm pretty sure this is how it works.  If you log in, and then log in from a different pc, it will log you off the original computer.  Not sure if that can be changed or not, but I can ask.

Why does it do that? No other site does that happen to me and I'm on about 6 other message boards.
