What are "recent conversations"?

Where it lists all the forums, below the "Classic View" bar there's a link that says "Recent Conversations." What is it? I clicked on it and it showed up blank.

It's basically a quick rundown of recent topic postings. It's always worked for me, so maybe it was glitching at the time you used it.
