Mine too, although I'm a bit sketchy on how they go up...but I'm stuck on mid to late 40's now, and it was keeping up with my posts earlier in the month of May.

I was thinking maybe we got no points for being in Off Topic, or certain folders had more point value maybe?

I have posted alot in OT lately, and it seems to coincide with this perhaps.

I don't even know how they work.  I inherited 19,000 points when I registered here.  I can't even use them for anything right now, so maybe you don't gain any until they add the feature of the "Prize Catalog."  Or maybe you just gain a bunch of them when your status changes.  On the points page it says I'm a Veteran and I'm 28% to Star status. 

 

I'm curious to know what the "prizes" are, but whatever.

My points are changing...I think

What do the points even mean? I have seen other peoples, but mine never showed up until today and it says I only have one. What are they?

I have 78,224 points--but I think that's the same number I started with? I don't really pay attention to that stuff, so I could be wrong. I wrote it down on a Post-It and stuck it to my computer--I'll see if it changes by the next time I log in.

 

As for redeeming the points, I don't think the redeem codes have been established yet AND I think there are people whose point count needs work. I'm thinking the points redeemability thing will come into play after we're out of beta and the other site is shut down. Not sure about that, but that would seem to make the most sense.
