I havent seen a Larry thread since the season ended. I dont know what Larry hating your talking about unless it was just a little comment thrown in about another subject. If thats the case get over it or move to chicago forums lol.

So I actually picked up a pack of basketball trading cards the other day. I do from time-to-time--a bit immature, I know, but I like to frame up significant groups of them.


 


Guess who the first card in the pack was? HUGHES!!! In a Cavs uni. I had to have a quiet giggle over that one. Needless to say, I'm putting it aside and I may eventually make a framed set of former Cavs players...

I hate him cause he stole our money




 


He didn't steal anybody's money.  He signed a contract to play for the Cavs.  He was a huge disappointment, I am not debating that.  But saying that he stole "your" money is pretty ridiculous. 


 


I do not like him because he played with no heart.  The one time he decides to not phone it in, he has a career game and the only reason he did that was to stick it to us fans who supported him through all of those bad years. 


 


I hate him because he got paid a lot of money to play a game, and he cared a lot less than we fans do.


 


I hate him because he was a disappointment.


 


But he did nothing immoral.  He signed a contract that was offered to him.  That was not stealing by any means.


 


Let's see what you do if someone offers you 12 million dollars a year to do a job.  Do you say "you know what, I don't think you are getting a fair deal"?  I doubt that.

Very good point. It's not like he begged for the money. And nobody could've foreseen the injuries and tragedies that were coming down the pipe either.
