Our front office is classy. They don't talk about trade rumors, so don't expect to hear one. I am 100% certain that Wally will be gone by the trade deadline. Could you image if we just let his contract expire and go on to lose at some point in the playoffs? He's a $13 million dollar golden ticket that will definately be cashed in. |

Honestly i think Wally should go. His expiring isnt going to do much for us cause it wont get us anywhere near below the luxury tax. Some names ive heard on here that i would really like would be Kris Kaman, Andrei Kirilenko, and Lamar Odom but you know thats just me. But i trust our front office will do something that can really put us over the edge and get us the Championship but we will probably never hear about it until after its done. My faith was redeemed in Ferry last year during the blockbuster trade. I never thought we would EVER get rid of Larry Hughes. and Hey look what happened! Hes gone! and He even impressed me further by getting Mo. and i hadnt heard any of this was gonna happen until afterwards. So i just know Ferry will do something. by the way Doctor Future23, you can Check firing Romeo Crennel off your list. FINALLY!!!!

The only way I say trade Wally is if it's for an All-Star player. I'm all for winning now but I rather build a dynasty then win a single championship. If we can get Jamison which I doubt because of our history with the Wizards then I say do it. Perhaps we can save this money and sign a big name like Chris Bosh once he enters free agency. I understand that it's putting our eggs in once basket, but great risk comes with great rewards. This also doesnt mean trade for a worthless player thinking that because he's playing with Lebron he's going to score 15 points more either. |

Plus.... I think the whole reason for acquiring Wally was his expiring contract.
I think the only way it doesnt get done is if for some wild reason a reasonable deal cant get done. |

Blaming refs is for losers. Let the Wizards fans do the blaming next time :) We lost that game fair and square. Period. No one but LeBron could do anything truly decent on the court. We didn't hit open shots. OPEN SHOTS! No refs can help that. When it mattered Antwan hit a jumper and burried us.
I do not like one tendency - Cavs sleepwalk for the first half of the game (this is like the fourth game in a row that that's happening) and then they wake up and try to rally back. Not gonna always work. Burry the opponent, and then maintain the difference - that is a good strategy. I hope they realize it, and do what's right from now on.
Boston is coming up soon, and Z is out. Good test though.... |

That whole trade was for expiring contracts and getting rid of our long term ones. (Larry Hughes) |

I like Wally and I like Boobie and think they can provide critical help this year. However, the Clippers just had their third string PG suffer an injury. When Baron Davis comes back their regular back-up PG will still be down. They could use Boobie; they definitely could use Wally's expiring. I would, however, feel lousy trading those guys to the miserable Clippers.
That said, the Clippers have three very solid bigs - two of whom are out with injury now. Trading for one of them and waiting for him to recover - be it Chris Kaman, Zach Randolph, or Marcus Camby - would be a possibly huge upgrade for later in the season and longer. It is a trade I'd be willing to give up players like Boobie and Wally to make, altho i would not enjoy losing either of those guys and if i were Danny Ferry i would beg them for forgiveness for sending them to the Clippers. |

Cavs have no bench right now. AV is the ONLY consistant player to come off the bench this year and now that he is starting we have nobody. Gibson used to be my fav player his first 2 years, but he isnt the same player anymore. Injuries or whatever he doing he just isnt the same he was in the playoffs 2 years ago and during the rookie challenge last year.
The cavs still need more firepower I wouldnt be mad if they traded Gibson for a guy like Travis Outlaw or JR Smith just throwing a few names out that would be good off the bench or traded for multiple players. Wally will def be traded IMO Ferry is just keeping it quiet.
