I would ask how every1s doin rite now but thats obvious..Im new to the site, all I have to say bout this loss is it shows how bad we need Z and that clutch player to make the defense worry bout them. I like the experiment that mike brown is doin with the 3 guard thing but its obvious that we need a veteran small guard that plays defense, some1 that can make the opposition pay for leavin em open. MO REALLY NEEDS TO STEP HIS GAME UP gettn payed too much to play like the way he has the past 5 games. any thoughts? |

A bright spot was the great comeback the cavs made. But then again ITS THE WIZARDS. AHHHH LOL im sorry. Im about to eat a light bolb.
what you guys think about the refs? the charge called on lebron was bull, mike james clearing leaned right into lebron. Both travels on mo and hickson were bull because they were clearly pushed.
what about the travel on lebron at the end? was it? I did not get a good look. But if that was wade you know they would not have called it. |

We need to get someone, I know Z is out but Wally...really doesn't do much at all but hit a couple of shots, couple boards and plays very bad D. Not sure who else to give up or even get. We need to rebound! |

I've been pushing a Wally trade for almost this entire year. Great guy, he did have a period in which his play improved, but basketball is a business. It's time for us to make a business move. We are past the point of building for the future, for next year.
This IS next year.
We are lacking depth in a few areas. Not so much in the guard department, but moreso in the big man department. Sacramento offered us Brad Miller for Wally and JJ. I say, why not? Sure, he has potential. Sure, he COULD become something great. But can we really afford to stick around and wait for that? Cleveland has gone long enough without a championship. Boston was in a similar situation a few years ago. They went awhile without a basketball championship, and decided to trade for winning NOW. Lo and behold, they won the title last year and are favorites to win it this year.
Good teams go with what they know works. Great teams take risks.
Which are the Cavs?

Despite what some people are saying Wally will be traded. But chances are itll be in late February, thats when the best players will be available. Its common sense.
The only way Ferry makes a decent trade now is if a big player becomes available to us for a steal of a deal. And I doubt thats happened just yet otherwise we woulda seen it go through.
Im still hopin on Gerald Wallace. |

Terrible game by everyone minus LBJ. The Only person that seemed to get it this game, and attacked the basket. Delonte West was practically sleep walking, and Mo Williams had some careless possessions.
The bench of this team needs to be addressed immediately. Another game where Sasha comes off a solid performance, and then does nothing to stabilize it the next game. Wally is terrible too. He just throws up shots and bricks them. We may take a slide this month, and Danny Ferry cannot be serious if he is considering holding onto Wally and Sasha.

2 contracts I would LOVE to get rid of... that's 18-19 mil between the 2 of them.

This is from a blogger on cavalierattitude. My thoughts exactly on how I feel about us getting Brad Miller:
"After having a thousand Mike Bibby-to-Cleveland rumors rammed down our throats over the past few years, it's no secret that the Kings are out for expiring contracts, especially considering how badly that franchise has regressed over the past couple of seasons. But seriously: The Brad Miller offer looks good only if you're considering Sacramento's perspective. Just as was the case with Marion, there's nothing that Miller would offer the Cavs to put them over the top. It would be one thing if Miller was on the right side of 30, but he's not. He turned 32 in April and has logged 10 seasons in the league. There have been times when he's had difficulty staying healthy for an extended period, and his numbers have regressed since he enjoyed banner years in his prime between 2003 and 2006. The Cavs would be getting a washed up ghost of Miller - just as they have with Ben Wallace. To make matters even more complicated, Miller offers absolutely nothing that Zydrunas Ilgauskas doesn't. In fact, Ilgauskas is still playing some of the best basketball of his career despite being a year older than Miller and could be looking at the third All-Star appearance of his career based on how this season has been going. Miller's presence in the middle would be redundant. Again, it would make sense to use him as Z's possible replacement if he was younger, but clearly the plan would have to be to use both Miller and Z simultaneously. That would also move Wallace to the bench, and without Hickson, all of the Cavs reserve big men (Wallace, Varejao, and Darnell Jackson) would be offensively challenged. For a team that should be looking at ways to acquire young low-post scorers and big men who can play beyond 2010 after Z's current contract expires (and when he'll be 35), the fact that Miller's deal is also up in '10 is counterproductive. He himself will be 34, using him as a replacement for Z would make little sense considering that they'll both be old, and the Cavs' only young "big" - Hickson - will be in Sacramento as a result of getting Miller in the first place. If this is the best the Cavs can do with Szczerbiak, then please: We'll pass. It'll be better to just take the cap space and see if Wallace's $14 million expiring contract for next season will bring better luck. "
Ego sum maioribus. Caveat emptor.

At this point, I would gladly give them Gibson. He's starting to piss me off the same way Donyell, D.Jones, and Larry used to piss me off. |
