Boobie is one of the reasons we were even in the game towards the end (drew a charge, made a three, forced a turnover, three free throws), so I wouldn't be blasting him right now too much.

i was talking about that same thing to me to my buddy during the game. All game i was thinking about how boobie looked kinda depressed, and his play was reflecting it. However, when it counted, he stepped up and made crucial shots and defensive plays. CLUTCH.

Travel. But,You guys are funny with the DWade comments! I totally agree. He would've got the call, and  what sucks is the ball went in! And 1, game over. I believe Bron does get calls, but he doesn't get  as much love as many of the other all time great penetrators. But like many have stated, the balance of the game isn't decided on singular plays.

What's killin us is missing Z's length in all regards but particularly on the glass. His pulling the big men away from the basket is sorely missed as well. Sucks with Boston comin in...It'd be nice to be on all cylinders for that matchup...

Another thing we're losing with Z's absence are boards. We got murdered on the boards that game. I remember one play they got 3 seperate offensive rebounds....then jamison threw up one of his awkward looking shots and it went in(he got fouled big time too and there was no call) ... i almost went crazy.

I agree 100% with General23. Kobe would have also gotten away with it.

who cares ..we had a bad loss

it did look like bron had the ball in his hand when he took his first step which would be  a travel..  to me it looked that way, whether or not it was the case it was a very close call

it was a timing issue with the refs and we didnt get the call in washington..   lebron obvoisly got away with one in  the 06 playoffs  as that video shows

Bottom line is LeBron travelled, he does frequently. So do many star players, and like those star players, LeBron gets away with alot of travels so it's kinda evened itself out. I also believe that people analysing LeBron's decision to go to the rim rather than kick it out to Boobie, take a step to the left and shoot or whatever, this is ridiculous. He had a split second to make his decision and if I was him I would have taken it to the cup at that moment in time. Fair enough if he had an open pass to Boobie and he could blatantly see but that was not entirely the case.

Gtfo with the DWade comments, imo.  LeBron is coddled by refs just as much as anyone.  Such selective memories...

he should have went for that step back. he would have lost his defender in the stands and delontes defender was in bad position to contest his shot..  which could have resulted in 2 FTs. on top of all that..  his shot was looking good all game.

but anyway ..  it shouldnt have came down to a lebron make or miss to decide the outcome of the game. didnt anybody notice the rebound differential?!?  52-35. thats the game right there.

It was not a travel.  I review the play numerous times just as others on this site.  Also, even if it was a travel, he got fouled before the travel.  So how can the ref miss the foul, but watch close enough to call the travel?

I think the Ref was ticked off still from Mike Brown.  Im still not so sure that some refs do not have personnal vendettas against certain teams or players.  There were alot of no calls during the game for the Cavs, and alot of little touch fouls for the Wizard.  Home court I guess.  But some of it was too obvious.  Name the last time Mike Brown went off the way he did?  He is not one of those coaches that blame the Refs...but the Refs were pretty bad last night.

As far as people saying Lebron gets the same calls as D-Wade.  That is not true.  During the Miami game, there were a couple of calls where the announcer said noone even came close to D-Wade but the Refs blew their whistle thinking contact would be made.  Lebron gets contact EVERY time he goes to the whole....but he only gets half of those.  If the refs called every called correctly, he would go to the line every time he drives.  The problem is he is so strong and big, the Refs let the play continue.  Something similar to Shaq when he first came in the league.  D-Wade goes strong to the rim, but he will get the touch fouls.....Lebron will not.  Lebron has to be hit hard or held for a call.  You cannot be physical with Wade at all.

I can't really say whether or not that was a travel.  In my opinion it is 50/50.  I hope with this call tho that they correctly define to the refs and players what a travel is.  Too many times you see someone take 4-7 steps and barely ever a whistle.  I also wish they would stop with the anticipating a foul calls.  Call the foul if a foul happens not if you think a foul will happen.  The NBA really needs to look into a NBA ref program to get younger refs in and possibly add another ref to have 4 on court at all times that way on fast breaks at least 1 ref is in proper position to see if the guy was fouled or not instead of guessing that he was going to be.
