Back to the original question: Why on earth would we trade West? All the guy does night in and night out is produce. If we need penetration there he is taking it to the rack! If we need outside shooting there he is! Not to mention the way he is in total control of himself in an uptempo game or half court set. I don't know to me the guy does no wrong. Plus his defense on bigger guys(worry in the off season) has been stellar. He has all but shutdown anyone he has faced!

Wally on the other hand is another story. Some nights his shot goes down from everywhere. Those nights he is valuable. Some nights he cant buy a bucket. Those nights he is worthless. The thing West has going for him is if his shot isn't fallen he can find other ways to help the team.

I totally agree with everything you just said. Also, Delonte and Lebron make so many great plays together (alley-oops and stuff). They really feed off of each other. LBJ with Dwest alongside him win hands down! I love watching those two run the floor together! That really makes for some great basketball! It's all good.

First i thought Danny Ferry was a bad GM, but i hope he doesn't read some of the post on here..lol. Ferry would trade West for Butler, but the Wizards will not give him up just for West alone, so we don't have to worry about that.

Well thats just your opinion isnt it.

I would not trade Boobie either. This is a team and boobie and dwest are a HUGE part to that chemistry plus Dwest is a much better personality than Caron.

Better personality? Last time i checked personality doesn't win titles! It's not hard really, Butler is an All-Star guard, and he is better than West, but you have the right to your own opinion.

I think that personality, talent, and chemistry wins championships....A team divided will fall, just like anything else....Egos need to be checked at the door....The great thing about the Cavs is that they do have personality, talent, and chemistry...Like Mo Williams said in his interview on nba.com,  when he first came to Cleveland he knew that this was LeBron's team....And that he had no problem with LeBron being the star. and hometown hero...He went on to say that he just wanted to win, and had no problem with LeBron getting the majority of the attention...A lot of players wouldn't feel that way...

everyone talks about wally but if we added dwest to the trade we could get a really good sg or should we rather go for a power foward.

Are you TRIPPIN'?... Dwest IS a really good shooting guard! We are now in 1st place in the Eastern Conference. So what is the problem? Why so ungrateful? I mean, what do you want, an egg in your beer? Unbelievable. Some of you people make me sick.

Who said anything about being ungrateful? Just stating the fact that Butler is a better player, course i woul trade West for an All-Star shooting guard, don't know a lot of people that wouldn't. I hope he does good against Allen tomorrow night.

When someone talks about trading our starting 2-guard from our GREAT basketball team, who has taken over the 1st seed in the East and is undefeated at home with an 18-0 record, I have a real problem with that. And, yes, I do feel that is being ungrateful. Sorry, if you don't. Why can't some people be happy when Cleveland finally has a winning team? I mean, it's not like our record is 6-28, we have a lousy team, so let's start trading players. Our record is 28-6 and we're in 1st place! You can't get any better than that! We are at the top! We are the elite team! Who (in their right mind) would mess with the starting lineup of a championship-caliber basketball team in the middle of a season when they are playing so well together and their chemistry is through the roof? The chemistry between our frontcourt, backcourt and LBJ is an unspoken language known only to them by eye contact. That's how good they are. So let's try to do everything in our power to mess that up, okay? After all, what would the city of Cleveland be without a losing team, as usual? Geez oh man, some people are NEVER happy.

"Summertime by Fresh Prince just popped in my head after reading that...."Dont try to fix it" in that girls voice on that song.  Anyway I'm with both of you guys and I've been saying that from when the Trade talks had started. If they make move that makes us better FINE, but i'm not asking for it at this point.  We're playing  way better then I ever thought.
