No link, looked around but can't find one. Reported on the radio. Cavs and several other teams made moves as today was the last day before contracts become guaranteed (or something like that).
So Jawad is gone....but probably not for long. Cavs can resign him or look to sign another player.
Roster is set: time to get busy!

That was my first thought, seeing as Eric Snow's contract isn't off the books til AFTER the trade deadline.

A link should come up sometime tonight.
It was a contract move, thats all. Jawad's contract would become guaranteed had the Cavs not waived him. If and when (probably) they re-sign Jawad, Cavs will save some money. It was a business move. The other possibility is we sign a different player from the D League. Hard to say at the moment.
