Well in just a matter of Cleveland smashing the hell out of the Charlotte Bobcats and Boston's struggle continues as the Rockets beat them 89-85, The Cavaliers are Seeded No:1 in the East heading into the Showdown between the Boston Celtics. If the Cavaliers beat the Celtics and stay unbeaten at home (19-0) The Orlando Magic just night be in 2nd Seed after the Cavaliers vs Celtics game.

Now that they have 1st spot in the East. They should keep that spot. It will make the playoff run much more easier with Home-Court Advantage. Especially as the Cavaliers are the most difficult team to beat at home (18-0) and counting.

Absolutely, i dont think there is anyone who cant beat the cavs in a 7 game series if we have homecourt advantage

Yes yes yes! Wish Z hadnt been injured, that will make maintaining our lead all the more difficult but I'll keep my fingers crossed. Go cavs.

True, our home play is outstanding this season. Even during the playoffs last year, I thought one of the major reasons why we didn't make it out of the second round Boston series was because we didn't have homecourt advantage. Hopefully we can keep the number one seed and pull away from the Celtics and Magic as the season goes on, that starts Friday night, though. We have to win that game - it'll make a huge statement to the rest of the NBA. |

People are beginning to understand the charade that is Boston.
As the "Old Three" wear down as the season goes on, Boston's weak bench will be revealed more and more.
We will take the #1 seed!!!

I wish it was that easy. The fact remains that every NBA team is a threat(See: Celtics-Hawks) and even if the Boston Three Party is getting older, that doesnt make them bad. They have lost 6 of 8, but the still have the 3rd best record in the league. You can not assume we will just beat the Celtics everytime. With or without Z(or any other injured player as the season progresses *fingers crossed*) I have faith that Mike Brown and the Cavaliers will NEVER let boston just HAVE the win. Boston will have to use every bit of energy left in the Big 33 & Co. to even THINK about winning a game against the Cavaliers in the Q, or anywhere else for that matter.
With that said, LET'S MAKE IT 29-6, BABY! Go Cavs! |

Right now the Number 1 seed does not matter that much (dont get me wrong, I want the cavs to be #1). Its always good to stay at the top, but if not controlled adequately it could bring fatiqued to the post-season. After mid-May is when the real race begins for the #1 seed. |
