Sasha's fade away jumper

I know Sasha doesnt get allot of PT but when he does it seems like he's been taking this fade away jumper.

It actually looks good and If I'm not mistaking...I think he hits that shot all the time.

Dude is 6'7 and its hard to guard a guy that tall shooting a fader.

This is a shot Ive seen LeBron shoot and make as well throughout his career.

One question: Where was this shot at in past years?

On another note its really seems like when Sasha does play....he's more relaxed ..doesnt force much and his shooting looks good. I know we dont get to see allot of it but could it be possible that the demotion he's got (he used to start last year) after us getting Mo, Delonte and Wally....is making him better?

I mean the guy is our 9th/10th man and Mike Brown would rather go small (Boobie and even Wally at PF sometimes) before going to Sasha at SF/SG.

Say we trade Sasha...do you guys think he could finally emerge as a decent wing player who could help a team out?

I think Sasha could excel in the right environment.  He does seem under control, and he has shown the ability to learn from his mistakes, i.e. not plowing people over on his way to the rim.  If he could develope some better handles, he would be worth something.  Then again, look what Wally has done with his career while dribbling the ball like a 6'8" 4th grader.  I would love to keep him around as a backup if we move Wally for a big, but I would also like to see him get some PT, which probably will not happen in Cleveland.

I remember a time when Sasha came off our bench as our 6th man, and could basically score at will at times. This was two years ago. Even though he came off our bench, he had plays ran for him. He would be moved off screens without the ball, he would get picks when he had the ball, and he would be found on cuts to the hoop. He has the ability, strength, length, and athleticism to score when you get him in position to score. His minutes are now limited, BUT, I don't see a reason to stop running plays for him when he IS on the floor. He has always had a very nice touch on that baseline. I would liek to see him get more touches there, especially if a smaller man is on him.

I am for trading Pavs, he has been playing without energy, and kind of selfish, but I'm not going to deny his ability, and the fact he is being underutilized when he is on the floor.

And, I agree with McFly, Sasha dribbles to high.

Birdy hop, he do, he hop along

sasha needs to dump that pump fake and hangin the ball down low. he gets stripped almost everytime. he needs to change his offensive game. its so obvious cuz he does the same thing EVERY freakin time he has the ball. its very VERY annoying..

as for the fade away..if it works for him i hope he sticks with it..he needs to change his game bad

Really dont want to lose Sasha via trade since Cleveland has sorta molded him. The constant tutoring under Brown as to the way he wants him to play defense has salvaged him up to this point. He's still inconsistent on the offensive end and that may be the way he alway 's is unless his handles improve. So if he'd end up somewhere else I'd say you'd see the same inconsistent guy. Here on our Roster he'd have a chance to come up huge every now and then and he has on both ends from time 2 time. Im not sure we'd see any progression elsewhere. If The Fade away makes him a better player-- I doubt that -thats a bonus. Seeing the Defensive intensity would fire me up more-Thats really what we need out of him.

Im over Sasha this guy is just an airhead.... I want Kinsey to get Sasha's minutes.  Kinsey is an upbeat guy that is an emotional leader on the bench.   Sasha just sits on the bench with this smug look on his face.  Kinsey looks like we could develop him into a solid rotation guy but he gets no minutes, instead we invest in Sasha over and over and over..... Its time for a change

I stated before the season that if Sasha could just develop a consistent pull up jumper, his game would be ten times more effective and he could actually contribute to the team. He may use that annoying jab right drive left every single time he gets the ball, but he's 6'7, he can get off the shot whenever he wants.

Why? He's been complete garbage when we've seen him play. He has no shot, no point guard skills, and he's too small and weak to guard anyone other than Laura Hughes.

How can you know this? Are you in the lockeroom or on the bench?

Sasha just sits on the bench with this smug look on his face.

Wha...? Usually when I see Sasha the look on his face is stone cold. That's far from smug.

I just don't get people's obsession with Tarence Kinsey. He's done nothing out of the ordinary when we've seen him. There's a reason he's one of the last guys off the bench...HE'S NOT VERY GOOD!
