I guarantee Z will be traded. Sometime this season.

I do not see the Shaq and Z scenario going real smooth at all. Z more than likely will end up riding the pine. Maybe they split playing time with him at first. I don't think that will work as the season goes on. You need to play Shaq enough, to let him get in rhythm and be who he is. You can't just play him 20 minutes every night, it was pointless in getting him then. Either way, I do not see Z doing that great off the bench. You need energy off the bench, Z doesn't bring any of that.

If the Cavs stay pat with what they have(bring back Wally which is all I think they'll do), the front line is still a big problem. They won't have a true back up, or starting power forward. I think Andy and Shaq playing together will not work on offense. I realize they'll go small a lot this season though with Shaq. Andy will probably end up playing more with Z, and only with Shaq to start quarters 1 and 3. Unless Mike Brown has another slow learning curb, which is possible.

I think Z will be moved. I think he definitely should be traded.

ya, they are probably going to experiment with him first before they make a decision on his future with the cavs. It may or may not work out....but hey, thats what the trade deadline is for.

His contract will get a lot more valuable by that time too.

I concur.  I doubt that Utah will not match any offer put out by any team for Millsap, and, after that happens, I doubt that Utah will keep both Boozer and Millsap, so it would be perfect to trade Z along with some sweeteners and cash for Boozer.  That's my extension of your prediction.

i dont know, i bet Z and the organization wants him to retire a Cavs, he has been here since the start and im sure he wants to end here, i know trading him to get a valuable player is a good thing, but idk if they will trade him anyways, we will see but if Z does get traded, even for someone better, ill still be mad cuz i want him to win a championship with the Cavs.

The chemistry will be a mess, IMO. If all else fails, Ferry could try to trade Shaq, which would mean the season really failed. I wouldn't trade Shaq, because if it fails it will be because we didn't have the right pieces around him.

I think it's possible Z could be dealt before the deadline(some time earlier in the year) if the chemistry is really a mess and Z is unhappy with his role.

theyre not gonna trade Z. The cavs are all about Chemistry. They will find a way to make it work. And Gotta love that no one remebers the Spurs twin towers-Robinson and Duncan. Robinson was the lost post guy and duncan was more of the one that bounced out of the paint.

You mean to tell me that Z (who is a shooter) be on the floor with SHAQ(the low post player)>

I have to disagree. Are they slow=yes. Would our team be less athletic than say Duncan and Mcdyess-YES.

But how many players would come to the hole if Z and SHAQ are standing there? Honestly. Lebron has D so it wont be a free shot on the wing. Mo and D west both have D so every one would be locked down.

The problem lies with the pick and roll, I agree but It wont be as damaging as people are making it out to be and I KNOW that.

You honestly think the Cavs rather lose, just to keep Z? There's no way. He'll be moved, IMO.

The chemistry on the front line isn't going to be quite there. They'll be forced to deal him.

The good news is, there will be Tons of teams willing to dump salary both with the cap and tax threshold dropping for the 2010 bonanza.

I've read your bold prediction, and I disagree with everything you said.

You said we don't have a true starting PF.  What is YOUR definition of a starting PF?  There are many different definitions depending on who you ask.

Z might not bring energy off the bench, but he will bring a mismatch problem and a nice jumpshot.
