why do people call the wizard vs cavs games a rivalry? they have yet to beat us in the post season and I assure u that NO ONE ON OUR ROSTER  cares even a little about what deshawn stevenson has to say. is this just to generate interest or do people really view us as a lakers boston type deal?

its not a rivalry if they never beat us...its more like a childish little grudge. we try to win rings, theyre concerned about their teammates wearing lebrons. if anyones a rival id say its the magic, maybe the spurs or even the miami heat. but the wizards? this "rivalry" is a joke

The Lakers vs the Celtics is a rivalry,  Ohio state vs Michigan is a rivalry,The Cavs vs Pistons is a rivalry, Browns vs Squealers is a rivalry. Do you notice any thing different between the Wizards and these teams?I do, these teams win and lose against each other, the Wizards only lose. That to me is not a rivalry. The only thing that makes it worth anything is that some scrub was talking crap about an MVP supper star player. Other then that it is a domination,not a rivalry to me. One team has to win some times for it to mean anything.

CORRECTION: I cant remember the last time the browns beat the steelers!!!!

How is it not a rivalry. They always play us great. I remember they beat us last year and played great on Christmas. Plus it's not a who wins or loses that totally makes up the rivalry. The best part is the jawing back and forth and how physical they play. I almost guarantee there will be an altercation this year.

It is definitely a rivalry.  So what they never beat us where it counts, they always talk trash about us, our players, and our team, they are cocky and always think they are better than us.  How many wins did they have last year? and we were one of them? even though the game meant nothing, there is still a greater sense of compeition when we play them.  They hold a grudge against us because they cant beat us..as soon as they do you will see more trash talk coming from them.  Im sure they have all the dates we play them circled on their calendars.

lol exactly, this is one really one sided rivalry. theyre only beating themselves

I do not know man! I think they beat the Lakers to, or came close, but does that mean they have a rivraly too?
