why are people still doubting the magic? like em or not they are still contenders, nice to see its between us and boston for the east again. the spurs are surprisingly not getting as much support as I thought theyd be...

I agree most with John Schulman. Hes got it right...

I can't believe two people picked AV to win DPOY. Hes good but he's not that good.

Also Shaun Powell picked Mike D'Antoni to win COY!? I wonder if that means he thinks the knicks are going to make the playoffs?

Basketball is too hard to predict. You know what teams will be good but the vast majority of picks will be rather inaccurate due to an array of variables.

GO CAVS! ONE TEAM, ONE GOAL!

Does anyone else hate eric snow as much as i do? I have aaaaalways hated him. The least productive starting point guard ever. Most overrated defender. And by far the worst sports analyst. And its not because he doesnt pick the cavs but whenever the cavs are brought up he just acts all smug and tries to prove a point to not be bias by being a xxxxxx. He never ever has any real insight to anything he says. It seems like he never says what he feels and its so apparent to me that he goes out of his way to just to play it safe and be politically correct. I hate him. Lol sorry i needed to vent for some reason

Exactly! I'm so tired of all these preseason picks. Just look at the state of football right now - I'm not going to name them all but denver 5-0 and titans 0-5 are perfect examples.

Funny you should say that, I was thinking about football as I posted. Probably because I'm on the Ravens forum at the moment, but I digress... stuff what 'experts' think. You'll find half the people that work for these umbrella sites like NBA.com or NFL.com don't actually know much (if anything) more than fans. Their research is done for them, they just neatly summate it.

how is that? even factors like injury or coach switching, or huge winning streak dont effect a teams standings and potential significantly. no team regardless of what happens during the reg season ever has an outcome that was completely unforseen and inexplicable.
