I am looking at next year draft, looking at trades and stuff we could do and i found this fellow from Lithuania, his name is Donatas Motiejunas he is a 7ft  C  and he is compared to Dirk, he is a very solid shooter, has the mid range shot just like Z, he will be a little stronger with post moves, but i honestly think this guy could be a younger more athletic version of someone like Z was, just letting ya guys know about him, if the cavs trade up, they would need this guy

As I am from Lithuania too I seen Motiejunas playing. He has fully developed offense.Firstly he is very good ballhandler, likes to slash to basket using his great first step, he is decent passer, has long arms though lacks some strength, has good post moves and very smooth spin moves, can play and finish with both hands ( hes lefthand ). Hes terrific jump-shooter and unlike Z he can make them off the dribble, can shoot from NBA 3pts line. Even though he plays at C, PF positions. At Nike Hoop Summit in USA ( International team from young talents plays against USA young talents) played at SF as of the lack of SF's at team and played very good. Biggest minus of him is he is average defender because he lacks of strenght ( Slim like Z Smile ), but if he spend some time in the gym it would be allright.

Another guy from Lithuania who is prospect is Valanciunas. Only 17 years, but in two years than SHAQ and Z will probably will leave would be good to have. He is only 6-10 but I think he will grow till 7-1 and have huge arms, can knock 12 feet jumpers, has good basketball IQ.. www.nbadraft.net/players/jonas-valanciun...

We would not be able to trade up to get him b/c he is going to be a top 5 pick. If you want someone who we might be able to get that is on par with what Z gives us now, look to Minnesota Pecherov. He is tall, strong, fundamental and can hit out to the 3 point line.

Great info, thanks.  I'm thinking the only way we could get a high pick would be to deal with NY, who may not want the pick because then they would have to pay him top-5 money, which of course they would rather throw at LeBron (who's not going there anyway).  Not sure who the Cavs would offer, or what trade value the NBA puts on high picks.

I believe the knicks pick is going to the Jazz anyway.

If z is going to retire after this season, why not replace him with better version of him. Donatas Motiejunas is 7 foot, that huge, lol.  He is projected to go at #9.
