I love CP3's game.

But is it wrong for me too keep mo' for loyalty and pride.  he's shown it.  and pretty strong at his position too.

Rather grab that shooting PF any day.  He's out there, somewhere.....

I don't think this is too serious discussion... at end of the day Mo will be a Cav for the duration of his contract, but if the chance to land CP3 fell into our laps Ferry would have to pull the trigger. CP3 is one of the 10 greatest point guards of all-time, not to mention LeBron's best friend in NBA... one can only dream of the impact they would have playing together here. Mo is good, but not an all-time great... loyalty and pride be ****.

They just took on the contract of Okafor to try and get more talent and make Paul happy, so i doubt that they move Paul because it's almost like they have to rebuild than.

yeah its not very likely, but could happen in the slimmest possibility that there's a meltdown and they need to liquidate.

Paul was in trade talks over the summer, but then people in the media got wind of it and the Hornets FO denied it (even though it was blatently happening). So CP3 is NOT untouchable.

Get excited Cleveland! our Cavs are championship bound!

Very true, even though it sounds crazy I heard the same thing over the summer.

My point EXACTLY. its going to be close to impossible to get paul now. but NOT impossible PERIOD. and even VERY possible come trade deadline when Hornets finally realize they have no chance getting into the finals let alone the WEST finals.

So. My original post says this. Get chris paul. and we can. Trade anyone on our team not named Lebron, Varejao, and Delonte West. We got huge expiring contracts. Mix in an extremely unhappy and desperate Chris pauol attitude wanting a trade. Mix in his close friendship with Lebron. Mix in the BIG possibility of winning a RING.

You want to have lebron stay in cleveland come 2010? Get Chris Paul down here.

The Only way This would happen is if Chris Paul willed it to be. He MUST ask to be traded here. and luckily, Hornets appear to be wanting to win AND trying to shed salary? Thats a volatile mix and recipe to LOSE in this league.

I would not consider Okafor "Help" for Chris paul. He is a undersized player who is very limited on the offensive end. Bynum and all those bigs would eat him alive. David west is only an allstar BECAUSE of chris paul. He will not help chris paul get a ring. Peja, like OKAFOR, is injury prone and OLD. He will not get Chris paul his ring.

So whats Chris Paul doing in New Orleans? Wasting time.

It took a decade forKEVIN GARNET to realize that loyalty is **** in the NBA and so he left the wolves to team up with the best in Boston and he got a ring. What did BOSTON do? they traded half of their roster and their FUTURE franchise player in Al Jefferson who could get 20pts 20pts casually.

Now New Orleans is in a GREAT position to shed money this trade deadline if they deal with the cavs and get a decent point guard with Mo Williams till its 2010 and then they can shed all that money and get atleast two GREAT players so they can start winning again. and maybe get on the draft for a HIGH pick. trade that high pick for another great close to aging player so you got a complete roster of vets and youngs talent.

No. Chris paul knows he wont win in New Orleans. All this tlak of "Loyalty" is the only thing keeping him from leaving. But wake up Mr.Paul. You will never win a ring (so Said Rondo) If you stay in the West with a whack team like New Orleans!

Cleveland needs paul. Paul needs cleveland. New orleans needs to rebuild. Paul doesnt want tot rebuild. He wants to WIN. And its not impossible for us to trade for him.

Trade Mo. Trade hickson. Trade shaq, z, WHOEVER. we got assets. Ferry needs to use them when the tie is right and Paul is tired of Loosing.

Lastly, and again, Want lebron to stay in Cleveland come 2010? Only star caliber player can make him stay. Not z, not mike brown. not shaq, not Mo. Not Varejao....etc....etc....etc....
