I believe he'll get a 3 or 5 game suspension, but that's about it. Since it's his first offense, I think, he will probably get off with a slap on the wrist. This was bound to happen, no surprise, lets just hope he handles it well. |

Yep I just heard this on STO - the other shoe just dropped! No offense to any fans but if West gets a slap on the wrist I'll have mixed emotions. If it was me I wouldn't get a slap on the wrist but more importantly West has a mental disease and if anyone shouldn't have firearms in his possession it's him.

boy o boy, this is just great for us. Right when we get him back, then they decide to pull the "trigger". 3 years per weapon charge wow. This dosent look good! Its highly unlikely he gets a pass on every charge. This is unfortunate for the cavs organization, us the fans, and d west. Why delonte why!?!?!?!?!? |

Relax everyone, this is what is supposed to happen. Being it's his first offense, it will be probation and the NBA will give him a 3 to 5 games suspension...that's it. |

do u actually think that state will let him pass on just PROBATION for 8 COUNTS!!!!!!!! you've got to be kidding. Look at plaxico burress , new york is strick to on gun possession charges. Let alone 8 counts. D west will get hit hard. |
