Prince sits, is he on the block?8:38AM ET Tayshaun Prince | PistonsTop ..."openWin=window.open('http://sendtofriend.espn.go.com/sendtofriend/SendToFriend?URL=http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/features/rumors%2312301&title=Prince%20sits,%20is%20he%20on%20the%20block?', 'sendtofriend', 'noresizable,noscrollbars,width=345,height=470');return false;">Email Pistons forward Tayshaun Prince sat out Tuesday night's game against the Orlando Magic because of a lower back strain and might miss the rest of the week reports The Detroit News. It's not known when Prince injured his back, but this ended a streak of 496 consecutive games, the second-longest active streak behind Portland's Andre Miller (535). Prince's 439 consecutive starts was the longest active run.
According to the Detroit Free Press, there was speculation that a deal might be in the works when Prince was scratched from the game and forward Jason Maxiell didn't play, but Joe Dumars shot down the suspicions, insisting there are no deals looming. Lets trade for him. Z, Hickson, Moon? |

I'm not to crazy about him for some reason, i think Z, Hickson and Moon would be to much for him, just my opinion though. |

Prince is still an excellent defender and team chemistry guy... smart shot selection... can play 3 positions... he'd fit in here perfectly with team philosophy... but yeah that's a lot to give-up for him. if Detroit were to buy-out Z and include Ben in the deal... I might do it. Prince could be a guy who puts us over the top for this season... he's versatile, championship experienced and only 29.... next to LeBron, we'd have the best perimeter defence in NBA. |

Yeah he is a big reason why Detroit beats Orlando but if we are going to part with Z we need a legite PF in return. Also like others have stated, that is too much to give up. |

no thanks.
He is getting older, and we already have a pretty good SF.
Why give up all that talent for a guy past his prime who on the Cavs would be relegated to a bench role? |
