Man after watching the game there is no way in hell that Shaq, Varejao and Z (any combination of two of these guys) should be on the floor together. The Cavs already play too slow under Mike Brown's offense and in the fourth quarter all bigs are all tired and they dont move well at all. Even Charles Barkley at halftime .said that the Cavs need to play with a smaller lineup for the majority of the game. When we have to bigs in the game at once LeBron has no space to operate on the court. I would also like to see Moon get some playing time and he is another candidate to play the 4 spot. Also I do know alot about basketball so i'm not saying to run this lineup when we play teams such as the Celtics or Lakers where there 4 is a Garnett or Gasol.

Tell me what you guys think

In spurts, we can play LBJ in the 4 position but not the whole 4th quarter. That depends on match ups. We need him to be fresh on the offensive end and not be burdened to guard the 4s of the opposing team.

Not a good idea!

It was either Mark Jackson or Jeff Van Gundy who said they preferred the Cavaliers with LeBron at the 4 with the smaller lineup.  I agree with those who say it'll work at times but in no way do I see LeBron at the 4 becoming a permanent thing.  Of course I'm the same person who thought we'd hardly see Z and Shaq on the floor at the same time too and look what has happened.  I think Z and Shaq together is desperation by Brown but what do I know I'm just a fan.

Look at the match ups the other way though. With Lebron at the 4 the other team has to compensate for that. He's not that much smaller than the vast majority of 4's in the league already. At worst he plays average defense against them. But can those same 4's even guard Lebron on the perimeter?

Mike Brown needs to be proactive and force matchups in his favor, and no the whole crazy Shaq and Z idea doesn't count, rather than reacting to the other team.

I guess you didnt see what I wrote becauseI said it wouldn't be a good idea if we were playing a team with a big 4 such as the Lakers or Celtics who have Garnett and Gasol as their 4. But most teams we play have a smaller power forward that LeBron can easily guard.
