Man after watching the game there is no way in hell that Shaq, Varejao and Z (any combination of two of these guys) should be on the floor together. The Cavs already play too slow under Mike Brown's offense and in the fourth quarter all bigs are all tired and they dont move well at all. Even Charles Barkley at halftime .said that the Cavs need to play with a smaller lineup for the majority of the game. When we have to bigs in the game at once LeBron has no space to operate on the court. I would also like to see Moon get some playing time and he is another candidate to play the 4 spot. Also I do know alot about basketball so i'm not saying to run this lineup when we play teams such as the Celtics or Lakers where there 4 is a Garnett or Gasol. Tell me what you guys think |

A better small lineup would involve us trading Z for SJax C-Shaq PF-LBJ SF-SJax SG-Parker PG-Mo Bench-Delonte, Andy, Boobie, Moon, Hickson, and Jawad(i really want to see Jawad get some realy minutes, i think he could develop into a real nice rotation player) |

I agree that we play really well with Lebron at the 4 but hasn't he stated he doesn't want to be a permanent 4 cause it takes the ball out of his hands? |

He would only really play the four at the defensive end though. He would till have the ball in his hands (cmon of course he's the King). |

No, Shaq would flourish with 4 guys around him that could all shoot the 3 with some consistency. This will spread the floor great. Why does everybody want to trade Shaq, did you see some of the shots Z was throwing up tonight, they were awful. |

Z is washed up. We cannot be a completely jumpshooting team. We need a post presence that is why we keep Shaq and ship out Z. Shaq is still a force defensively at the rim, he will block shots and make hard fouls. Z will move over and let somebody dunk the ball. Andy would be a much much better backup center.... |

This makes so much sense at the defensive end, too. LeBron matches up well with athletic post players like KG, Rashard Lewis, etc. If we play a more traditional PF-C combo, he can still hold his own on D and would be a nightmare to match up with on the offensive end (as if he's isn't already). The 4-out, 1-in offense is a great way to compliment the Shaq-LeBron tandem. LBJ can take any PF in the league off the dribble and Shaq is a great passer out of doubles. If they don't double, he draws fouls. Seems pretty cut and dry to me, so I can't understand why we'll never try it. |
