lebron wants to make an appeal to new yorkers

that's one possible reason why lebron james want to put on a show

i hope we can all see the business part of it

I think people understand the business part of it but why not play with that much focus every game. Kobe does and he has 4 rings to prove it. I want to see Lebron to play with that focus every game not just in NY

Man.. Reading through this thread is something else.

Yeah 80% of the possessions went through his hands. And he got hot and kept it going, just like he did last year during the 50 pt game. Did people bash him on here then? LeBron is part of the Cavs, and the Cavs won so let's enjoy the victory and the fact that this "selfish, arrogant, immature" GOAT spent most of the plays in the 4th quarter leading his team to victory by kicking out for passes to Mo and Boobie for three.

Oh yeah, dude had 9 assists. How selfish.

I've never seen someone everyone is all over get bashed on for such little things. If you really feel that way, let LeBron go and pick up another superstar that will be more loyal and won't put on shows like that.  Trust me, 29 other teams on the L team will have no problem with the show.

Maybe it's cuz i'm not from Cleveland, I have to be missing something right?

He also had 7 turnovers and when he came back in the 4th our lead actually went down

How can you bash Lebron?  That is just crazy to me bashing him for dominating in the in the Garden the Mecca of basketball where all the greats put on a show... Lebron plays there once this year the media is going crazy basketball is entertainment and LEBRON JAMES is a show... The greatest thing to happen to cleveland.. Thats why I am a LEBRON JAMES fan and if he leaves I'm going with him....Cavs fans are crazy for being angry at him becasue he put on a show...Lebron is what makes the cavs go remember that....

You see that's what separates "Cavs Fans" from "LeBron Fans".  See Cavs fans want to see THE CAVS win.  Yes LeBron is the key peice and we love having him because we get wins.  But we would rather much see a TEAM victory rather than a LeBron victory.  You LeBron fans only want to see LeBron do good and don't care for the rest of the team.  Cavs fans have loyalty for the team.  United we stand, divided we fall.  And that's just not the Cavs vibe but that's a CLEVELAND vibe.  We have loyalty to our city and the reason why we get upset about LeBron's attitude is because sometime he doesn't show loyalty to the city.  The city that he comes from and plays for.  THAT'S why we get upset and see the bashing.  But it also works in your way too.  If LeBron sat up here and said "that's it, I'm not playing basketball anymore" and hadn't gotten any rings you would say the samethings we said.

+1

lol at this. You do realize he was the one responsible for the lead in the first place. He didn't come back out until going into 4 minutes into the 4th and the momentum had kind of switched before he came back in. You must also realize he didn't play with the same aggression he started with, after the first quarter when the lead was already there the guy came out and actually slowed down and started playing the way he has been playing these other games that looked so ugly. that's more of the problem.  It's very obvious he needs to play with energy, aggression, and enthusiasm for this team to be successful period. No matter who they play.

Another fact,  the game was over before the 3rd quarter already. The game lost all the excitement it had for fans and players. Lebron has been getting lots of turnovers since the season started which makes me wonder what is happening with the offense. The guys are not playing alert. I wish people would just stop trying to make these role players more than what they are. It's like Cav fans want to turn these lead pieces into gold all of a sudden. The biggest change the team has is getting Shaq and only because he slows them down more and probably can help against bigger teams. The rest of the team is primarily the same. Which is not that bad. This was a 66 win team with lebron being the dominating factor the majority of the time.

Despite all of that Lebron has to play the way he played in the first quarter of this knicks game through a whole game until he is benched for a big lead or the game is over, and especially in the fourth. I am not a fan of resting him in the fourth. When will we realize this? The Cavs haven't played that dominating since the season started and it is needed for them to get it going, for them to get the guys used to the flow and learn to play within the system.

Kobe has 4 rings because he had a lot of help that Lebron was not fortunate enough to have. The fact that he plays for los angeles with great Gm's and under phil jackson also helps. The situation is just not comparable. I agree with your last sentence.
