does anyone know why jj got the start? i kinda like the idea, it could give him some confidence, as well as help us defend more athletic front courts.

JJ looks lost most of the time out there.  He cant hold onto the ball, he cant hit a jumper, he cant make a free throw.

Give him a break, JJ played a good limited first quarter. He scored 6 points on a 3-4 shooting. And the reason why JJ start is because NYK is a small team.

Makes sense - so it was a good place to give a try.

But i think we will see it again.

Playing an athletic fast big who can shoot along with Shaq is worth trying.  If JJ can handle it this could be the break we need.  Playing Z and Andy together is something we know works.

Because Mike Brown read my post yesterday when I called him to dumb and stubborn to make a change. I think he was trying to prove me wrong but he still didn't give JJ much playing time that is the only way JJ will learn. Mike Brown doesn't got anyone fooled, he still gave the slow bigs Z and Shaq alot more minutes.

Brown said after the game that it lets him play Andy and Z more together.

I honestly don't think Brown is smart enough to continue with what works.

i agree, he did absoultly nothing that impressed me last night, besides getting a poster size block against him, trying to take it to the rim soft. shouldn't be a starter till get gets more confidence or gets more heart. just doesn't have the killer instinc that he needs

Just saw Windhorst reported that Brown will keep JJ in starting lineup atleast for near future.
