With the recent Troy Murphy injury Roy Hibbert has shown that he will be the future center the Pacers have hoped for.....posting 3 straight double doubles......Troy Murphy is lights out from behind the arc and able to step out and defend the pick and roll with Varejao so shaq wont have to.....just a thought.....maybe it would work....Would trade Z for Troy.......we wouldnt be losing depth in the front court either obviously |

I would do it. Probably take Z and Darnell or a pick, but it would be a definite upgrade. My only two questions would be how well does he defend and how severe was that injury you mentioned? |

I totally agree with you, troy murphy is a double double guy and he will stretch the defense..also if we cannot get him go after stephen jackson and throw in ronny turiaf, if not anthony morrow....we have to get settled on a shoot 4 , we will not win the championship without that settled for us... van gundy and mark jackson also said the same thing commenting on the game in the garden last night |

Minor injury (back).....hed be a much more capable defender than Z......and a much better defender on the pick and rolls than Z and Shaq |

Yea troy would be great for us him or david west, but the troy murphy trade same more realistic and it makes our team better as well as the pacer they get a quality big in z to play and mentor their young big so this could actually happen this would be like when the pistons got rasheed from atlanta this would be the icing on the cake. |

Because Z is the most expendable piece on the team with any real value. |

I rather give up Shaq. Z already has chemistry with this team and I noticed Shaq doesn't get many offensive rebounds and Z does. Shaq and Gibson for Murphy and Watson. Cavs get the stretch power forward/center and a capable back up point. |
