LeBron James 2010 Idea

Obviously I think we can all agree that this is a big deal and is heartbreaking just thinking about what he will do in 2010.  Over the last 24 hours, I've heard and read a couple ideas about trading LBJ.  So this thought dawned upon me.

Obviously every team is interested in LBJ and he can play for any team he chooses by taking the max or minimum.  I personally think LBJ knows what he's going to do but is doing this for business reasons.  By February, wouldn't you think LeBron will know if he likes the talent around him or knows he will go elsewhere?

My thoughts were this...If I'm Dan Gilbert, your franchise is worth nothing what it is now and the franchise moves to Seattle in a couple of years after only a few sellout games.  He loses tons of millions.

Shouldn't Gilbert confront LeBron and demand what his intentions are by February.  We already got screwed by Boozer when the Cavs did the right thing by ripping up the final year of Boozers contract.  Boozer woulda got 900k in his last year but instead the Cavs agreed to Boozers wishes and were willing to give him a long term deal, with the first year paying many millions instead of the 900k.  I just believe that we have a right to know and should get something in case LBJ goes elsewhere.  If Wade leaves Miami, the Heat will still be the Miami heat.  If Bosh leaves Toronto, the raptors will still be in toronto.  I just believe this town can't take the heartbreaks anymore and the Cavs will leave Cleveland for good.  If we can't win with LeBron, we won't win a title without him. LBJ is the greatest Cleveland athlete off all time.  This is totally different than CC, THOME, RAMIREZ, etc leaving.

It's really hearbreaking and makes my stomach twisted typing this but those are my thought. What's everyone else think about what I said?

id be very heartbroken if he left because im only 14 and the chances of me ever seeing a championship would pretty much be dead unless the browns cavs or tribe got good quick but i dont think we would move if we lose lebron

If you were 84, that would've made sense, but you said you're 14.  My dad(50) has seen many highs and many lows, he's always talking about the Browns glory days, and when the Cavs had some pretty darn good squads (yes, before LeBron)  The Browns we'll be back up there eventually, as will the Indians, and the Cavs.  That's the way sports are.
