Another good one was Tony Battie for Drew Gooden and the rights to Anderson Varejao.  AV hasn't exactly worked out contractually for the Cavs, but he was a big part of the finals run.

You all know my opinion on Drew, but at the same time he was a 4th overall pick that year and is a serviceable big.  I'm not defending the guy (I crigne using the word "defending" in regards to Drew Gooden), but it was still a steal.

I forgot about the gooden deal. Saving wally for latter? Love it

Oh yeah and memphis did really well out of the Gasol trade, they have already gotten rid of "that 7 foot joke".

Kwame might be the worst player in the NBA, IMO. He's 7-foot and like third string. You must really suck if you're 7-foot and still get no playing time.

Yeah Kobe for Divac, and probably Sam Bowie for Jordan. Man if that wasn't highway robbery I don't know what is it.

Bowie was not traded for MJ.  He was drafted ahead of him, which is why his name always comes up in reference to MJ.

Jose Calderon will finally be recognized as a Top 3 PG in the league this season.

Even though there were a lot of players involved, I would say the Garnett trade.  If they had not made the move and gone with Pierce and Allen, they wouldn't have won 45 games last year (maybe even 40 or less).  It is hard to make a great assessment on the trade because we don't know how some of those young guys turn out, but as of know that is a lopsided trade.

Minnesota got Al Jefferson in that deal, and he alone disqualifies it as lopsided, imo, at least in regards to the Celtics and T'Wolves.  I'm still not quite sure what Seattle was doing.
