The rumor mill
has been churning after the Williams deal. The
Cavs could be talking to the Knicks about a big man
.
              Morning
              Journal

Technically,
the Cavs can still trade point guard Eric Snow, but they wouldn't
be able to use the injury exception
. There is no update
on his injury settlement with the insurance company. Morning
              Journal

A source said
              the
Cavs could have gotten forward/center Dan Gadzuric from the Bucks
in the Williams deal, but declined
. Morning

I am so very glad Ferry didn't take Gadz from the Bucks.  He is a terrible and overpaid player.

The only big I would want from the Knicks is David Lee.  Considering that Mike D'Antoni typically doesn't like bigs like him, I would hope he is the one the Cavs are targeting.  He could be a very good AV replacement, but still doesn't solve the team's low post scoring problems.  If the offer is on the table for David Lee, I would hope Ferry is highly considering it.

That was an interesting article in general.  I wouldn't mind getting Curry... and Lee would be excellent here (or anywhere).  That's about all I'd want.

I'll take Lee, and that's it.  The thought of Curry is very appealing, but I think it is way too big of a risk and the last thing I want to do is give them cap relief unless it's a sure shot home run.

Obviously, they would need to have a chat with Curry and his agent before any type of deal went down... But if Curry were to work out, he has far more  upside than Lee.  For me, a lot of it would depend on the length of his contract.  If it's on the short side, cool... But if it goes past Lebron's 1010, no way.  You'd be right about the risk there.

Apparently it is. I read on the ESPN forums (yes, I know they're pretty bs) that apparently it's a Szczerbiak for Randolph swap, based on ESPN 1050 or something. Randolph is loked at as a team cancer, but I dunno... either way I think we could find a better deal.

lmao... as I write thi post, I see this:

wow i would love to see David Lee here....however he strikes me as more of a SF who could slide over to the PF position, instead of a 4-5 combo that we are looking for.  Randolph and Curry have too much off the court baggage to take on, imo.

Zach Randolph is an All-Star caliber big and would make us title conders immediately if it was just Wally to give up

Imagine this lineup:

PG Mo, DWest

SG Sasha, Boobie

SF Lebron

PF Randolph, Big Ben

C Z, AV

CHAMPIONSHIP

in his best year in Portland he had 24 ppg and 10 rpg, that's FANTASTIC. And imagine him playing with Lebron, wow
