When guys say that Vince Carter is old or is getting old like he could not help us win a championship, I think of Robert Horry, Shaq, Lindsey Hunter, Sam Cassell, PJ Brown, Brent Barry, Michael Finely, Alonzo Mourning. I can't recall all the older players Kobe played with when he won his three with Shaq but I know they were there. The Cavs must also Balance this way which I think they are doing. Trully if Z is moved to Back-up Center and we have a Young Athletic Center to start (Andy ?? Eddy?) then we don't have to go to find out play off tested vet cause is already here ! We have guys headed for their prime in Mo and Lebron and Young Guys like Daniel and JJ and Darnell.  Vince Carter is battle tested. Z is battle tested. Zach and Eddy are headed for or are in their prime if we get them as predicited. David Lee is up and comimg and Could really develop into a nice small forward to back up Lebron. David Lee has the mentality to get the Job done no matter if he starts or is off the bench. It makes no difference. When he reaches his prime he could be a beast.  All that said, we are going pick up some older players along the way, BETTER older players mind you.  If we can win 2 or 3 championships with Vince then I am all for it.

I agree that if we brought someone that is old but is still good that we could win championships is a good thing even if they are here for a couple years we still can build off of it.  But still I don't think that Vince is the guy to bring us a championship.  I know this isn't really a possibility but I would much rather have Redd I watched him in the Olympics and I mean he was just awesome.  Vince is great and all but he is not what he used to be don't get me wrong he is still better then Wally and Sasha but I just would like to get someone just a little better and a little younger.
