Shouldn't a portion of Lorenzen Wright's salary be included for '08-'09?

Also, the subject of Billy Thomas and Lance Allred came up during the conference call for Delonte's signing. While Danny certainly didn't say anything to make it sound like he expected them to stick with the team, he didn't make any mention of Billy being waived.

West's salary updated 9/15.

West's last season might be a $500K partial guarantee instead of a team option.

Billy Thomas was waived on Sept 8th.

Aldred probably isn't going to make it past training camp.

Bob Finnan reported in the News Herald today that Billy Thomas has indeed been waived. He will be playing overseas.

What an awesome post.  I hope this thing gets stickied for all time and is always kept at the top of Team Talk.  Great to see old school posters tearing up this new board as well.

Seems like we are in excellent position to move money around by the trade deadline.  I guess my question now is, what awesome (gettable) players out there match up with our expiring money?

im not sayin its bad to look to the future, but what happens this year can impact those cirumstances a lot. we have a good team and many good things can happen that would influence a players decision.

who wants kobe....let the ball hog stay in LA. I'd take lebron over kobe anyday.

anyway...as of right now, don't we only have like 19mill in salary signed past 2010? thats what i heard on STO or FSN. If thats tru, doesnt that mean that we hav plenty to offer lebron? and if lebron really wants to go where he has the best chance 4 championships, why the heck would he go 2 NY or NJ. VC is gettin old, and NY has nobody else. if he goes 2 NY, he'll be rebuilding all over again, just like he startd here.
