I like the trade. HAwes would be a good backup for Z for now and Douby is a nice shooter. Salmons would just be a guy on the bench but I guess you have to make the money match up.

My bad. I was lookin at the players in the deal and must have clicked on the wrong guy. By the way, Slamons averaged 12.5 PPG last season. He might start for us if this trade would happen but if we keep Delonte, I think he wouls start over Salmons.

This is a trade that I think both teams would hesitate to make.  The Cavs would be rolling the dice on Hawes being an NBA-caliber big man (still a big if), and the Kings would be giving up on two young players that they are hoping to develop in exchange for a guy who will be a free agent after this season in Varejao, and a guy who is an even bigger question mark than Hawes right now in Pavlovic.

I think the Kings would be willing to move Salmons for Pavlovic just to shave a year off their contract obligations, but that's the kind of deal that you make mid-season, not during the Summer.

I also wouldn't be shocked if Brad Miller became a Cavalier at the deadline if the team needs a push and he's the best option available.  Remember you heard that here first.

Wasn't Q.Douby who everyone on CMB wanted to draft a few years ago? I think it was the same draft we got Shannon Brown in, but I might be mistaken.
