Griz interested in Randolph...3 way trade possible?

This is off hoops hype

While
the Griz were courting Smith they also had trade discussions regarding
New York Knicks power forward Zach Randolph. Those discussions —
mostly internal – are still ongoing as Randolph has been made
              available
. The Griz are willing to part with Darko
Milicic (last year’s big free agent signing) in a package
that wouldn’t require a core player (OJ Mayo, Rudy Gay, Mike
Conley, etc). What the brain trust seems to be debating is whether
Randolph fits the Grizzlies’ style on and off the court. Memphis
              Edge

------------

Well from the all reports Iv'e seen, we were talking to New York about a big (probably Lee), but them trying to dump Randolph on us was the deal breaker. Well if griz want Randolph, maybe we can facilitate this trade and get Lee out of it.?

We could send West to the Knicks, but I don't know what the griz would be interested in from our side.

If there's a team who'd take him, it would be Memphis. What a great way for them to never be good.

Get on the Lee wagon, Ferry. If they are ready to take Zach, let's figured a way to get Lee out of it.

Well I'm no hero, that's understood... All the redemption I can offer a girl is beneath this dirty hood.

I'd give them West and a first round pick. That's more than fair for us.  They badly lack point guard play, too. I mean, Duhon is set to be their starter.

I might not be wild about West, but Duhon is horrible.

I dont care where he goes as long as he stays out of the CLE. He would ruin a great oppertunity to land a superstar in 2010

I'd do that in a heartbeat.

Why the heck does the griz want Randolph around their young players!?!

West could be a decent fit at pg... Duhon is no where near a starting quality pg. Delonte isn't an ideal starting point either, but he could give them toughness, depth, and a bit of defense at the position.

who cares about 2010? He'd ruin a great oppurtunity to have a winning team

Duhon is about as good as Snow was when he played for us. Maybe a little better offensively(just a little), and a bit worse defensively.

West is a better, and more explosive point guard. There's no way though, we do a clean West for Lee swap. Lee is easily a better player, they'd want our first at least. I would give it to them with no problems.

makes perfect sense for the knicks in my mind. The strengthen their pg position, get a pick, dump their cancer off on another team and get a solid big back from the griz....

I would say Duhon is quite a bit better offensively than Snow.  Duhon can actually hit threes, whereas defenders could let Snow stand behind the arc and rot.

Duhon is better than Snow, but IMO not even close to West. I have always thought Duhon was extremely overrated. I couldn't believe people wanted to trade Gooden for him straight up the past couple years.

Larry Hughes is STILL HORRIBLE

All I want is ONE championship.
