I think if Ferry really wants Lee... i beleive he can be had at a decent price. I really do.They gotta think Lee won't wanna come back the next year on that stinker of a team... and they don't wanna pay him a lot to stay since they are all about 2010.

I refuse to beleive they wouldn't want West when DUHON might start. Seriously. Duhon.

I would LOVE to get Darko from the Grizzles, we could send Delonte West to Memphis and a 09 second round pick to Portland and maybe we could get a pick to, maybe we can get either Mike Conley Jr. or Rudy Gay from Memphis, if we get involved in this deal, and then we can send a 2010 second round pick to Memephis for either Mike Conley Jr.  or Rudy Gay of POSSIBLE

What about this?

New York gets [Anderson Varejao, Darko Milicic, Grey Buckner]

Memphis gets [Zack Randolph]

Cleveland gets [David Lee, Hakim Warrick]

New York gets all exp contracts before 2010. Memphis gets Zack with out giving up any cash and Cleveland gets two good players but both will want big contracts next year.

This is the problem with so many 3-team trades involving the Cavaliers: the other two teams would probably be better off without the Cavs involved.  If I was the Knicks, I'd rather have Warrick and Darko than Anderson Varejao and Greg Buckner, and I'd still get to keep David Lee.  As much as I'd like to see the Cavs benefit from the Grizzlies' cap space, a 3-way deal doesn't make much sense.

Unless of course the Knicks would prefer to have Ben Wallace, or if the Cavs were looking at adding Jamal Crawford and were willing to send Wally's contract to get him.

Wow do I hate this new system.

This is from pg.3........Which system?

Maybe it would work better to deal with NY 1st,   then Memphis....get the DLee & ZRandolph deal for a perimeter player, & include MalikRose if AV on Ben are required.......THEN talk to Memphis who likes Zac & get Crittenton/Darko/Warrick/1stRounder.

Of Course we could get stuck with Zac but is this really a big problem?   He wouldn't be a full-time player here, or a starter, if he doesn't play D; we don't need him as much with James/Z/Lee/Ben.  Bron & Ben would pressure him,  MB wouldn't even play him if he gets "cancerous".   Just points off the bench, like originally at Portland and at MSU.

Its a risk, but good reward & progress made.  3-team trades are hard to get all the way done.
