I would take Shaq, even over Kobe or Lebron. Shaq in his prime was a monster down low, he would get triple and even have 4 players guarding him and he would just throw HUGE dunk down and posterise all of them. Ive never seen someone so dominant under the hoop. My draft 1. Shaq 2. Duncan 3. Lebron 4. Garnett 5. Kobe 6. Howard 7. CP3 8. Melo 9. Brand 10. Mourning

Somebody loves bigs^^^^. 8 of the ten are either forwards or centers.
I think that a team's success is based more around the point guard then anything else. If I can't draft LeBron I would draft a good point guard, that's basically what LeBron is anyways. A team revolves around the point guard, if you don't have someone you can depend on to handle the rock and find open shooters, you're gonna struggle.
I agree Shaq in his prime was one of the best players ever though. He created so many open shots. Although, if we were picking players in their prime this would be an entirely different list.
No specific order Shaq T-Mac Steve Francis Gary Payton Ben Wallace Jason Kidd Jermaine O'Neal Allen Iverson Chris Webber Tim Duncan Baron Davis
You could make a case for a lot of those guys. |
