Why are we so enamored with S. Pavlovic? Every time I see him, he doesn't finish at the rim, he doesn't shut anybody down defensively, he's not lights out from 3-point range, I don't see this "one on one" ability Lebron said he has, and I don't think a healthy year with training camp is going to change much. Why don't we package him and andy for stephen jackson. Or him straight up for david lee. O rsomething else, I don't care. |

Regardless, Pavs is a big part to our team right now. There is nobody to take his "role" on this team.
IMO, a healthy Pavs with a full camp will improve greatly over last year. Not "star" improvement, but considerable improvement.
Pavs and AV for Stephen Jackson? |

If he continues down the same path, he will not have a job in the NBA next year. This is not something that you want to say about a guy on your favorite team who plays a significant role.
He has to improve, or he will not have a job. It's that simple. I don't care about his supposedly good defense or his supposed ability to drive to the hoop. He looked pretty bad two years ago, got his payday and came back like he doesn't care at all. I don't think we need to trade him just for the sake of trading him, but if he doesn't look half-decent by February, he will be traded as an expiring contract.

Sasha may end up being the perfect 2 guard for us now that we have Mo Williams.
I know, it sounds crazy, but hear me out. Mo Williams and Lebron are both going to dominate the ball offensively, and Mo needs a great defender paired with him in the back court. Sasha's job will be to hit an open 3 every now and again, finish off easy passes, and defend the other teams best guard.
He had really lost a step last year because of the holdout and the subsequent ankle injury, but he is tall, strong, and athletic. He will be better this year and he might be just what we need at that position.
I know everyone wants to get some flashy 2 guard, but there is only one ball. Another all star guard would not work here. |

He has potential, but i honestly dont think he tries hard enough out there, but he isnt a complete bust, but he may soon be if he doesnt have a good season |

Yeah it's pretty much been covered, his potential is more important than anything we could get for him now which is a 2nd rounder at best. |
