flip murray was terrible?

what are you smoking?

we got the go for next to nothing, and he actually had a big part in our playoff run, in case you don't remember

And Larry Hughes was like the biggest move we could've made at the time, it was actually a good move.  It not working out isn't Ferry's fault

I love these dumb people who like to use hind sight, but that's probably because they didn't follow Cleveland till Lebron took us into the playoffs

Flip Murray wasnt bad, but he wasnt that good either. I agree with his point that all the gaurds we have had for awhile havent been able to get the job done.

It actually is Ferry's fault that he signed players like Hughes Marshall and Djones not bc they were busts but the contracts he signed them 2. Ferry has learned his lesson with free agents and he is now turning the cavs around, but we still have not had much around Lebron until late last year and now bc the cavs are just getting rid of the old contracts.

LeBron made Flip Murray look decent, if you have seen him play lately on the Pistons he sucks. I can't wait to see Mo Willams wit LBJ, finally a real PG who can actually shoot and create. Hughes has never had a good jump shot, not like Willams.

Sasha p****s me off so much sometimes when he blows open layups or bricks open 3's, but at the same time, I do remember him in 06-07 when he actually showed that he is a basketball player.  I'm really hoping that him being with us in training camp this year, along with AV, will get him in gear and make him realize that his ride in the NBA could be ending real soon if he doesn't step it up.  He needs to work on his quickness I think, he is just too lethargic on the court, and in turn becomes predictable.  I honestly wouldn't want AV or Sasha traded before the season started unless there was a deal that couldn't be passed on.  I hope they both have their break out years, more so Sasha, because they could be the players we need more than anything...

He has talent the problem is he's like the scarecrow "if he only had a brain" He doesn't have the wit to know good shot vs. bad shot,or that you can't run through three people in the paint with your head down. He's a little bit of a mental case too if you look at his choke last year.

This video may shut up some of the Pavs haters. he had an off year last year, but this was from 2 years ago back when he was really tearing it up. He could really fit in well with our offense this year and he's got the potential and ability to score 15 a night. If we got 15 a night from our shooting guard this season I would be thrilled. If Delonte comes back it will be interesting to see how the guard situation plays plays out. I see Pavs impressing us a lot though at Training Camp and I think he will have a great shot at starting opening night. He's got great size and athleticism, he just needs to find his comfort zone again like he did a couple years ago and you'll see the real Sasha.

People can assume all they want, but the fact is that was 2 years ago. I agree he might be the opening day starter. And i would love for him to get his head on straight and be the player he showed he could be 2 years ago. But we aren't going to know anything until the season begins and he shows us something. Once again i would love to see it, because i think he is running out of chances, in Cleveland anyways. I dont want to trade him because his value is nothing right now. If he could be the Sasha of 2 years ago i think we will be solid at SG and only need a Big or 2.

the thing is, if we didn't overpay for guys like hughes, marshall, and damon, we wouldn't have gotten them

and well that sounds good in hindsight, at the time they were logical moves.  overpay a bit to bring in a guy you feel can help this team.  Sometimes when a team has money, it's alright to go out and overpay for a role player that you feel can help you.

we can't do that now because now we're paying for financial decisions that you can say, didn't pay off.  although guys like Marshall and DJ and even Hughes were beneficial to us making it to the finals.
