Im not ruling out anything. But you saying Ferry doesnt care about the length of a player's contract is just INSANE!

The cavs have not re-signed West, how did it come up with 4 years and 4.5 million...


Our front court is worse defensively with this trade and we trade a first round pick. Ferry is going to wait to take on a contract that big 4 years 10 million that goes past 2010.. Gerald Wallace is not an all-star.




 


that's what the rumor is, West wants around 4.5 - 5 million for around 4 years.


 



Even though I like Gerald Wallace, and Haslem seems to
be a 'hard-hat/lunch-pale' player, It doesn't really help us. It would
only help if we used Wally to trade for a good center at the deadline.
In this trade we give up AV who is the only backup big man on the team
who can play both PF and C effectively. And in return we get Haslem who
is strictly a PF because of his size. Even though he and Ben are around
the same height, Ben is a man-beast and a former DPOTY with center
experience. Getting Gerald Wallace is cool and works for me, but taking
in Haslem and losing AV just isn't a good idea IMO.




To the one who says getting rid of AV is not good,  AV is pritty much gone next year, and Big Ben and AV play the same game ( have you ever seen them play together! the offence su cks! )  plus your wrong Big Ben gives use depth at center, and we also drafted a guy called JJ,  Remember when Z went down last year and we were stuck with AV and BEN playing and the only hope was SMITH !!!

I doubt Charlotte will do the trade until at least near the Trading Deadline when they have another bad season and will be willing to trade pieces to rebuild.

I heard bits and peices on 1100 and 850 like a month ago that we had a idea for a trade will miami..Why we didnt go through with it, idk...But id like to have haslem..He is a tough player, good on D 90% of the time but if he came to cleveland, that would change because brown is 60% D, 40% offense(as we seen in the past). But like i said, haslem wouldnt be a bad pickup for us..AND TO EVERYONE WHO WANTS CURRY, WE WANT TO CLEAR SPACE FOR LEBRON, NOT GET LESS...CURRY IS A ONE MAN PLAYER AND HAS THE CONTRACT TO PROVE IT!!!~~

Gerald Wallace is really an amazing,  athletic player and an incredible defender; but my concern is: Has anyone seen him playing as a shooting guard? Would he be as effective as him playing at sf spot?


BTW, I don't think that Haslem is the best option since there are David Lee rumors going around. He is undersized, and getting older; and as we are in need of some youth down low, this would be pointless. Also, Delonte's value is much higher than that.
