I would give up west and a first seeing as how if ben continues to decline and so does Z, we could have a BIG problem on our hands keep in mind that our first will be in the mid 20's this year

that would make us instant contenders...but it won't happen. how about something simple like s&t delonte for haslem and nothing elsee. then go after g force at the deadline if he's available..if he isn't...then we get vince carter because the nets will suck anyways, either way wally's expiring will be gone at the deadline

I have no problem with G-Force,but Vince Carter is not the answer. His contract is too long. And it will kill any hope we have of bringing in another All-Star after the 2010 season when it's time to re-sign Lebron. I know G-Force hurts our chances too, but he is younger and probably still tradeable. Vince we would be stuck with, because by 2010 he will probably not have anything left and be a bench player at best.

NO to VC and NO to G- force or whatever cute little knickname you've given him .Vince is too old and too much of a panzy and Wallace wouldn't fit our team.I wish the salaries would match FIGURE IT OUT FERRY

You clearly dont know much about him if you didnt know that. So obviously you have no idea whether he would be a good fit or not. He is EXACTLY what this team needs at SG, A DEFENSIVE STOPPER to put beside Mo Williams. Im not crazy about the length of his contract either, but he wouldnt be untradeable like Vince.

I agree on getting G-force for his defensive abilities, but at the same time I can agree with him not working here. Wallace plays a forwards game more than anything and has a weak jumpshot. I would be happy if we got him, but in order to fit our team better, I would almost rather have someone like Raja Bell who can play good perimeter defense and who has a pretty decent 3 pt. shot. I don't know the likely hood of getting Raja Bell is, but IMO he would fit this team better than G-Force, even though I like G-Force wayyyy better than Bell.

Gerald Wallace cant make a shot past 5 feet. He would be a bad fit with LeBron.
Larry Hughes is STILL HORRIBLE
All I want is ONE championship.

We've already got three guys coming off the bench at shooting guard who can hit the three(Wally, Boobie, Sasha), we need another veteran who can play defense and get to the basket. I think Gerald Wallace would make us the best team in the league, meaning we would have a great shot at winning a title if we brought him here, but I can't see Ferry bringing in another pricey player who's contract goes past 2010. I'm not saying Gerald Wallace isn't worth what he's getting, because for what he gives you he's worth it, I would have to wait and see how our team was doing towards the deadline though before I made a deal for Gerald Wallace. If our team is a top two or three team in the East I wouldn't make a deal for Gerald Wallace because it would change the chemistry of our team and our gameplan, plus, if we were a top team at the deadline it would mean either Sasha or Delonte or somebody has stepped it up a notch at the two and why ruin that. On the other hand, if we are say in fourth or fifth place at the deadline and we're not getting much production from our shooting guard I think you have to make the trade. If we are in contention without Gerald Wallace I wouldn't do the trade because if we make it into the play-offs with a good team, LeBron can carry us all the way. If we were looking at a fourth or fifth spot and we didn't have home court, that's when I would worry and make a move for Gerald Wallace to try and put us over the top.
