This could easily be the team that goes into camp andplays the first part of the season.

But I remember on the day of the Mo trade there were like 3 people that said there will be one or two more trades coming in the summer. One of them was Dan Gilbert and also that insider dude on that other website said it.

Even though its definitely possible JJ could handle the 4th big man role, I dont want to have the risk. I hope another trade is made for another big man who can actually play.

Then again Hughes was pretty good in Washington but wasn't too good in Cleveland so nothing is guaranteed.

it's really getting on my nerves that almost everybody compares every sg who could land here to larry hughes. larry had one very good season and that was the season before he came to us. joe johnson isn't an injury prone guy who shoots bricks all the time...he averages over 20 points for the last three years (in 06/07 25ppg), he's an allstar. did you see the celtics hawks series? the 4th quarter reminds me of lebron's performance against the pistons. joe would be a great addition to our team also his contract has ONLY 2 years left so if he doesn't play well here (i don't think that will happen but if) we let his contract expire and add an other allstar in 2010 when wade, amare, bosh....are available.

Looks like Darnell will be signed.

The Cavs are expected to announce a deal with second-round draft choice Darnell Jackson from Kansas on Saturday. Point guard Delonte West, a restricted free agent, remains unsigned.

Larry Hughes is STILL HORRIBLE

All I want is ONE championship.

Exactly.

If theres two SG/SF's in this league that will almost guarantee us a championship its Joe Johnson and Manu - both all stars, both with good size, both used to playing 2nd/3rd fiddle, both capable of being "the man" at any given moment, both good shooters, both good ball handlers, both good defenders, both can create their own shot in a variety of ways, both clutch while JJ gets the edge because he's younger.....mots of all NIETHER compare in ANY way to Larry Hughes.

Larry was a mistake signing that shouldve never happened. Ferry is still trying to clean that mistake up. Understood we couldne get Redd, Ray Allen or Joe Johnson that off season...we wouldve been better off going with a cheaper option (Cuttino Mobley) who wouldve been half the price as Larry and fit in better. Spilled milk though....but its a crime to compare players like Joe Johnson to Larry.

i think you can add josh howard and perhaps gerald wallace to that list. both could be available this season. it depends on how their teams play. howard would be great too, his contract has only 2 years left like joes. that's a big plus if we want to have cap space in 2010. also we should be careful with aquiring players with contracts which have 4 or more years left (larry...).
