These Are The Player That Should Have Been The First Five (IMO):

PG - Mo Williams

SG - Wally Szczerbiak (I changed my mind) Tarence Kinsey!

SF  - LeBron James

PF  - Ben Wallace

C    - Zydrunas Ilguaskas

Off The Bench :

PG - Daniel Gibson

SG - Delonte West & Tarence Kinsey

SF  - Alexandar Pavlovic

PF  - J.J. Hickson

C    - Anderson Varejao & Lorenzo Wright

Mo Williams will definitely play the PG at 1st five.

Wally Szczerbiak will be a good combination in the offense with Mo Williams.

Perhaps Wally Szczerbiak has something to do this upcomin' season.

Tarence Kinsey would roar the Wine & Gold, mark my words!

LeBron James? No comment about this guy! He's so strong in the court.

Ben Wallace will be a killer in the front court.

Zydrunas Ilguaskas will have played better than the past season.

Delonte wants to return in Cleveland and as well wants to play with LeBron.

Im gonna say switch Wally and Sasha. I think Sasha is a better fit to play with Mo and LBJ because he is a better defender than Wally. Sasha can guard the best player at SG or SF so LeBron does not have to. Wally could also be a better option than Sasha off the bench because of his scoring abilities.

Who knows though? Both Sasha and Wally had very disappointing seasons last year. They will have to fight for their spot in training camp.

Larry Hughes is STILL HORRIBLE

All I want is ONE championship.

i think our lineup will change at the trade deadline when ferry will trade wally for a sg...i think even if wally plays well this season he and his big expiring will be traded at the deadline

I def think thats the lineup for the start of the year. As long as theres not another trade for anyone like David Lee or Stephen Jackson (not likely) who could challenge for the starting job.

Wallys gonna have a hell of a year this year. Maybe not a career year but hes got alot left in the tank.

I'm leaning towards what this cat said.

Pavs would be the better option in the starting lineup so that LBJ doesn't have to guard the 2's in this league at the beginning of games so he doesn't risk foul trouble. It was obvious in the Olympics that LBJ shows he wants to be a Defensive stopper. Unfortunately, as he is not established around the league as a Defensive stopper, he will tend to be foul prone until he gets the recognition of the refs in that aspect. Therefore, use Pavs 6 available fouls to help protect LBJ.

Starters:

Mo

Pavs

LBJ

Wallace

Z

2nd group:

West (if re-signs)

Boobie

Wally

JJ

AV

Also have on the back bench

Jackson

Wright

Kinsey

? Alred

? Thomas

Solid general core of players if they play to potential. Probably going to be a tweek by the deadline somewhere in there, but it all hangs on where each player has their respective games. Who knows, this group could have us in 1st place by the end of the trading deadline and Ferry will be hard pressed to make a trade unless the only thing another team wanted was an expiring and a pick with no young talent included.

I have to go with my gut on this one...

PG. Williams

SG. West

SF. James

PF. Wallace

C. Z

Basically I think West signs a multi-year contract and starts @ SG for us. I think that would be a dominating starting 5 with great depth at all positions.

West isjust too little, it wont happen. Especially with Mike Brown who always said Larry (6,6) was a small 2-guard.

Delonte is 6,3, maybe a tiny bit taller. I just dont think he could guard Ray Allen, Joe Johnson, Jason Richardson, let alone Kobe Bryant or D-Wade.

Sasha can be a good defender and Wally can be an average one for their position.

Wally can score like an all-star and Sasha can score like a borderline starter.

Its gonna be Wally.

I like Sasha over Wally, only if Sasha can be even clost to what he was 2 years ago. Wally is better offensively, but if Sasha is better than he was last year, start him. He's a lot better defensively, plus think about it. Our 2nd lineup if we sign West:

Boobie for 3

Delonte

Wally

LeBron

Varejao

This lineup will be very effective against some teams. Pick and roll with andy, and LBJ has 4 guys to pass to or take it to the rim. If we dont sign West, then move wally to the 2, LeBron to the 3, and put in J.J. at the 4. Still a very effective lineup.
