Anyone who attended this (it is happening right now), can you give us a summary? I didn't go this year, I was able to, I just didn't. Lol, procrastination at it's worst.

-Go to Z more, we stopped going to Z after the Denver game.
-Get Gibson involved so he isn't forcing shots.
-Sasha plays for personal glory.
-TRADE SASHA.
-TRADE WALLY.
-Play Hickson more with the first unit.
-Make better coaching adjustments.(Miami did the same things to us defensively in Miami, that they did in Cleveland. It worked both times.)
Play with intensity again.

The Gold team won, with Wally, Sasha, Mo, Allred, Hickson, etc. The Wine team, with Boobie, LeBron, Wallace, Z, etc lost.

LeBron only played a few minutes in the game. Sat out the rest with ice on his knee. Wouldn't look into that too much though.

Boobie seemed to be better at handling the ball. Made a few  buckets that weren't just wide open threes. Seemed to play solid defense too.

Kinsey didn't really do anything, I was dissappointed there. But I can see some potential in him, he displays a good bball IQ, he just wasn't looking for his shot too much.

Ben Wallace had a major throwdown in transition. Don't think his back was hurting him. He even made a nice move with his back to the basket and scored. Then he tried it again and missed everything almost. Think he airballed a free throw, too.

JJ Hickson did okay. He had a NASTY, NASTY block against Allred. Allred was driving straight at JJ, went up for a dunk, JJ went up with him and just stuffed him. Then he had a dunk on the other end. He also converted on a really nice alley oop, it was a pretty viscious throw-down. I still think he needs to work on body control, sometimes when he gets the ball he just throws himself at the basket. He attempted to throw one down right under the basket but he got blocked by the rim. If he can get more elevation to be able to throw that down, he'll be really dangerous. He can get up high, he just needs to work on his explosiveness and jumping high from a standstill. He was really high on the alley-oop, then got blocked by the rim when he tried to dunk just standing under the hoop (ala Big Ben last year)

Varejao looked like he did early last season. Solid on offense.

Sasha was Sasha, I guess. He tried a few pull-up jumpers, he got great separation on one, but not so much on the other. He just seems to move so slowly.

Lorenzen Wright actually looked very solid. So did Ronald Dupree and Jawad Williams. Jawad drained a few threes IIRC. I wouldn't mind Dupree and Williams being guy 14 and 15. I think it was Dupree who had a really nice throwdown in traffic.

Darnell Jackson looks like a great scrappy player. Has some range on his jumper.

And Gibson's team killed in the two-ball competition after the game, cause Boobie just sat at the three point line and drained them.

And I think he looked at me after the game. That was cool. Ha.

Guess I didn't really say anything new, but everyone appears to be healthy. I'm pretty excited for all the newcomers...Jawad, Kinsey, Dupree seem to be talented, athletic guys.

Thanks D-Sev.

Ohio, LBJ didn't get injured, he, along with many others, ice their knees after any type of basketball activity.

I would imagine keeping Lebron in makes the wine and gold scrimmage a massacre.

From what you have seen, do we need to keep Jawaad and Ronald Dupree and trade/waive some people to make room ? Are they quick and athletic enough to make a difference. Screw who's making more money or who has been here for a while. Can they help us win ?? You saw them. What do you think ??

Good summary D-sev... yeah lebron only played the first quarter of the game..then sat out and iced his knees and back.

Play of the game tho was when boobie and lebron were on the fast break, gibson threw the ball off the backboard and lebron dunked it on Sasha haha...sasha fell down and lebron gave him a death scare haha
