Good luck with the rest of your professional basketball career, Lance! It was nice having you on our team and hopefully you can use this positive experience to work back to the NBA

I wish him all success in the world.

He's a very good D-League player and maybe thats where he's going from here. Wherever he goes, I think he'll do well.

Waiving Lance alread is kind of like losing your appendix. It doesn't make much difference whether you have it or don't but it hurts giving it up. I like all Cavs players and I never want to see them go, but sometimes it's for the best and maybe Lance Alred was just taking up space.
At any rate, i wish him luck for the rest of his basketball playing career, and I'd welcome him back anytime.

Kind of sad, but at the same time he was an insurance policy and now we have players that are better than him just waiting in the wings.  He really had no place on the team anymore.

I hope he can find a way to stay in the league, but I'm just not sure he'll ever see much floor time in the league.

Well, he'll get his chances here and there.  Great story, great perseverance.

Anybody know his blog address?

Not surprised he was cut, but a little surprised it happened this early. I figured he would stick around through most of the pre-season. Either way, I didn't see him on the team this year.
